I was thinking along a similar line. Fairly or unfairly, most of these men who turn out not to be good husbands or partners for other women, were raised by women. And I think it's partly because a lot of mothers (and fathers) don't raise their sons to be responsible and accountable individuals. Their primary concern is that their sons grow up to be "manly".
