Footsteps in History Exhibition Photos and Dialogue

This exhibition was created by the museum in collaboration with the St Neots Local History Society. We worked with the Society’s archivists who know an impressive amount about St Neots History. The High Street is at the centre of life in the town and we wanted to draw attention to its long history. Around the room are pictures and objects related to shops which once traded in St Neots, with pictures dating back as far as 1895. Items were taken from both the museum’s collection and the archives that the Society holds. This will be hopefully the first in a series of collaborative exhibitions with local groups in our area.
