Rhythm Trivia: The DS song for Karate Man "Struck by the Rain" is a woman's perspective of a break up, and the Wii's song "Lonely Storm" is a man's perspective of a break up.
Nah Bruh His side B would be punching a lightbulb, cup or rock at the enemy. Each having a 33% chance of coming out. Lightbulb would go fast but low damage. Cup would go as fast as a Gordo, and medium damage. The rock would go as fast as the cup, but more damage and hit stun. His up B would be the combo, being able to hit after the lightbulb. If in the air. It would be like ryu's up special but less damage. On stage, the full combo wouild happen, but there would only be knock back on the upper cut
Baby, I'm a broken man, I'm just a shattering storm. Baby, try to find my way as the lonely shadow swarm. Whoa, I'm just a man. Missing you, please understand. Without you, I'm dying. No, no one will know how I bear my pain alone. In the end, I choose my solitude. No! I can't go back to my days of innocence. Can't go back, there is no return. Another cycle of seasons has passed us by and I can't help wonder, I wonder, I wonder just where you are now. I hear from everyone that you are different and that you are yet more beautiful than before. Whoa... If you say that you are happier now and that's just the way you feel about everything now, well than I guess it's just the way that it is...

lucas reis Okay, so I looked into the Japanese Version. Sorry for the late response. I'm a freaking idiot. Forgot the conversation. T_T So yeah, I like the Japanese version because the words seem to blend together better, but I also like the English Version because when I listen to the words they connect with me and I feel something inside. Not just numb to emotions.
Dovah Chief Actually, I believe there is a pitch difference in the music. (Though I might be thinking of the second one... or maybe it's more noticeable in the second one.)
Ace I believe that's also a slight change in the lyrics (if you direct translate the Japanese lyrics to English), but yeah, other than that they're virtually the same.
Fun Fact: Karate Joe has dreamed of being a soccer player even since he was a child, but his Father wanted him to master karate instead, and told him that he can't leave his house until he masters it. Even at 55[2], Karate Joe still lives in the basement[3]. His Father also stole the ball that Joe had bought and used it as a punching bag[4]. Father is a master at karate, but not cooking. Occasionally he makes dinner anyway, such as one day when Karate Joe's mother was out of the house[5], and asks his son if he likes it. Joe has to lie and say that he likes it to make him feel good[6]. Father got his son bombs to make him face his fears. At first, Joe thought they were fake, but then one exploded. He still vividly remembers his Father's face as he said "Are you surprised?"[7] Karate Joe has no idea where his father got them from[8]. Father keeps a bunch of barrels around, but Joe has no idea why. He asked multiple times, but was told that he can only know when he is stronger than his father[9]. Karate Joe envies his Father's incredible vision that allows him to quickly tell the color of a light bulb and counter it[10]. Joe also sees this as an explanation for how his Father can easily counter his attacks.[11]
Say what you want about the English version, I personally think it's better. Not to mention it actually fits so well in the English version of remix 10 instead of the Japanese one.
