Welcome to Thailand, this is short video about Thailand new years celebration called songkran. Songkran is biggest water festival in Thailand.
This was my 4th Songkran Festival in Thailand and its always fun. Keep your waterguns and be ready for the biggest water festival in Thailand!
But what is Songkran?
Songkran is an old-fashioned Thai New Year's celebration, which is still celebrated from 13 to 15. April, the hottest time of the year before the start of the rainy season. Songkran is also called the water festival, and its celebration essentially includes carnival-like, boisterous behavior and a water war, during which passers-by are doused with water.
