I'm from California. I love watching Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd speaking on crimes committed by criminals because he gives detailed information about who the criminals are with their photos. All Sherriff departments around the US should be this detail orientated, to give the public all information about exactly what's going on out there in our neighborhoods. GREAT WORK!!

@@tomr3422 Not claiming he or his officers are perfect or anything, but… your claim that his department only does stings, like this, when it is convenient for elections is inaccurate. He frequently has press conferences to discuss successful sting operations they ran in Polk County. Many are human trafficking or sex offender stings but not all. It is human nature to be curious & I believe his constituents appreciate being informed as to what is going on in their community (if the don’t already know) & what is being done about it.
Also, this operation was not just done overnight; it takes time to build a sturdy case for conviction. If the sheriff’s department jumped the gun & didn’t have solid evidence for the prosecution, the perpetrators could go free… thereby wasting the time & resources allocated to the task force for missions such as this.

What can you say? I watch this from the Maritimes in Canada, but I lived in Toronto (Ontario) for almost 60 years where the police and crown attorneys have similar challenges. They are burning down all the citrus groves to build 2 story apts for them. Most of these urban people just got their 1st drivers licenses driving here. Stereos banging vibrating on our streets. Unsafe for women in retail stores. Etc. I have a 2 bdrm 2 bath condo for sale, fyi.

We do have great law enforcement and great collaboration and luckily, we don't have to often seek the help of statewide law enforcement unless we are dealing with the border crisis. I really wish that all Sheriff's acted this way. This man is an extraordinary example of a person who does his job and does it well without the political drama that most departments and Sheriff's seem to give into all the time.
Me too. This is the first sheriff to admit that there's no such thing as good police work finally. You heard what he said. Since no one will do the work for them they can't solve those two murders. Police today are glorified Paper Artists. If uhn-uhn Undercover, the real cops by the way, doesn't make the case for them then they need an informant or snitch. Maybe we should be a bit more careful the positions that we open up that involve paying people to not be able to mind their own business. Especially when they finally admit that if the society-at-large doesn't do the work for them it doesn't get done. I mean did you miss that? Cuz everyone seems to.

The Sherrif was stating that these gang members intimidate either the witness to the crime AND/OR the victim of the crime. So, if you don’t have a witness/victim come forward, and there’s no recording of the crime to show the jury, then you cannot prosecute bc you don’t ha e enough evidence to show the defendant(s) are guilty beyond reasonable doubt! In order for us to continue to be a free and safe (from anyone terrorizing us bc laws are not enforced) society...then society has to do its part. Doing your part means you speak up/stand up when your community is being terrorized. One person having courage most of the time gives others to also have courage, to stand against this tyranny. For evil to prevail, it means good men do nothing...which is happening more and more. We’ve been so comfortable for so long, that it’s created weak men and women (or what ever tern they decide to go by these days). People expect the police to do all the work while at the same time blame them for someone getting shot, then scream defund the police. It use to be that you knew your neighbors, you knew their kids, and vise versa. It use to be that everyone watched out for everyone in their community. If neighbor A saw neighbor Bs kid doing something he/she/it shouldn’t be or was hanging out with someone known to be a ‘trouble maker’, they spoke to neighbor A about it. Then neighbor A, would address what was observed with their child...usually with more than just a ‘talking to’. So, not only have we stopped being a community but we’ve also stopped people/children from facing the consequences of their actions and stopped any form of corporal punishment, except when they eventually end up facing the police.
It is our job to be active in our community to maintain peace and stability, and to work with law enforcement to prosecute those committing these heinous crimes! It’s a 2-way street!!

Where I live, when you make a crime stoppers report, the dealers get tipped off and hand over to other collaborating local dealers until it blows over. They’re back at it, business as usual as soon as possible. Every time you watch it happen. If there’s a ‘raid’, they knock at the door for 45 minutes first. Somebody’s on the payroll. Parents of teenagers need more support to enable them to lock down their teens overnight and use tough consequences. Some teenagers are out of control, and parents don't have the legal authority or support to safely deal with the challenges effectively. Parents need to be able to trust the police or some other organisation; they can call when their teen starts damaging property and threatening inside the home to get their way. I don't have teens, but I know what parents go through, especially stigmatised single mothers of sons.
These repeat felons just needs to be permanently delt with. They show time and time again they don't care who they hurt or kill. Why should we as citizens care for them. Its obvious they are not a good influences on our communities.

haha I'm from van too but crime's pretty non-existent here so a guy like him isn't really needed, is he. People are just good to each other here in BC. We don't lock our doors, jesus I don't think I have a house key even if I wanted to haha. We live in absolute paradise -- no guns, no republicans, unlimited high paying jobs everywhere, just ahh.

So when your government’s assassins pulls your child over for not using the right hand turning signal when making a right turn at a four way corner and pulls your child out of the car and puts in cuffs and slammed your child on to the curb. Your child tells cop to be careful and that upset the cop so the cop tased your child until the child dies….. your government’s official declared this use of forced was justified! However during this justified murdering of your child your government officials send in their assassins squad to find ways to block anyone from seeing what actually happened and to cover up the murder of your child! Bare in mind your child only forgot to turn on the turning signal but now is laying face down in the gutter while the assassins are laughing about how your child flipped over and got it’s skull smashed…. On site there are twelve assassins from the assassins squad, two emergency medical units, along with fire rescue squad with the Fire Chief unit and the large fire truck!!! So now remember your child only forgot to used the turning signal but in pain your child told cop to be careful….. So is the fault your child’s or does the fault belong to the assassins squad? Yes your child should have used signal! Or could the assassin just wrote your child a ticket and moved on???
Point being because I have a gun I now will be responsible for the actions of this child for not using the turning signal or even worse paying for the actions of government assassins squad who just put your child in the ground!!!
So using Liccardo’s of San Jose own reasoning then the child who was driving and the assassins squad both should be paying a fee for driving and for the government assassins squad a fee for murdering!!! So to the best of my knowledge your child has been paying a fee for his license and a really large fee for insurance!!
Now the government’s assassins squad to the best of my knowledge is probably paying a fee to keep their firearm license((which I expect we pay with taxes one way or another) but to the best of my knowledge the government assassins are not required to have murdering insurance!!! So Liccardo of San Jose what do you think should our government assassins be required to have murdering insurance too???

Ashley B. Moody is a bad ass. She was a judge in Tampa FL felony division C. She was the youngest judge to be sworn in the Hillsborough county circuit Court. I had a warrant for "failure to return hired,leased property" I stood infront of Judge Moody. She actually took the time to read my case and why a warrant was served. She saw that I paid rent a Center 3 times what the items were worth. And gave the prosecutor and rent a center a piece of her mind. I owed 450 left and was only behind a couple of months. She decided to throw the case out. I really appreciated her. A lot of judges don't do that. I think she is great at what she does. Peace ✌️
