- Every World Wrestling Federation video game released for the N64 - from 1998 to 2000. These four were a perfect snapshot of the Attitude Era at it's most popular, the WWF was in the middle of a boom period and as a result the games sold exceptionally well.
War Zone & Attitude were both developed by Acclaim, and whilst both looked fantastic at the time, they were and still are notoriously hard to pick up and play, with even basic moves requiring players to remember multiple button combinations.
WrestleMania 2000 & No Mercy however are still beloved to this day, with intuitive controls and attention to even the smallest details, developers AKI Corporation future proofed these games for decades in a way that nobody ever could have imagined.

I remember that my young brother and I played both WWF Warzone and WWF No Mercy for the Nintendo 64 console system in our cousin's house when we were kids in the early 2000s. Those were the good times.
WWF No Mercy n64 is my favorite wrestling game.
Wm2000 ✌️
HELLO, good video! 🙏🏼🖤
love how the side walk slam is a SPINEBUSTER, limitations in those days. Wrestlemania 2000 and no MERCY got the move right, but botched the Test neck breaker, which was done right in SMACKDOWN 2. war zone is ok, attitude, better. but damn they dodgy today
I played all of them as a kid in the late 90’s early 2000’s
Curious to know if anybody genuinely prefers the Acclaim games over the AKI games
I don't think so. The gameplay was very bad. And the AKI games had storylines/career mode. Okay, Warzone and Attitude had an championship mode, but WM2000 and specifically No Mercy had the better 'career mode'.
@@facesoffearbrewing1229 The only people I’ve known that prefer them are PS1 exclusive gamers trying hard to cope. I had a couple friends like that back then but whenever my friend group played wrestling games it was the aki games 100% of the time while the acclaim wwf games, nitro & thunder collected dust.
@@jonwolfendenyou're right, I can remember at school anyone with only a PlayStation would try so hard to downplay the N64 games out of jealousy
The AKI games had great gameplay, but they were also incredibly sluggish.
War Zone 5/10
Attitude 6/10
WM 2000 7/10
No Mercy 8/10
