I’ve had the machomai for like 2 years their really good but the laces aren’t supported well and they rip out of that loop they are held in by and had to be stitched and after a long time of hard use the grip wears off but they feel very good on feet and are much better than normal shoes to box in I would still recommend them I might try the KO boots next the lacing looks better
Machomai is in fact pronounced mahome which is Greek for fight
would love a new updated version of this
I would of gone with the Hyper KO but the colour range in the UK was poor plus I prefer matt materials so went with the KO’s instead.
Can you please review the new adidas speedex 16.1 and the boost !
Thinking about getting the machomoi boot anyone who has a pair do you recommend them only boot I can stretch to my budget
Fit2Box does the toe strap on the hyperko make a noticable difference in support as oppose to the new ko or any other shoe for that matter?
Michael Montano you can use it to tighten the front of the foot
Tbh I don’t fasten it too tight
So it is functional and can tighten but it doesn’t make a massive difference
Thanks so much! Had the machomai and just ordered the KO’s!
So do you like the KO's or the Machomai's better?
OliverClothesOFF26 I honestly like the machomai a little better just because they are very quick and easy to put on. And they are very soft. The KO’s are more stiff but some people prefer that and I totally understand! They have the same sole! Can’t go wrong with either, durable and will last a couple years and look nice.

Are you going to review any of adidas' newer line of boxing boots. Can't decide on what to get. I do have wide feet also
Not Real
I haven't got any adidas currently but a few people in the gym have the newer adidas boots and I really like some of the new designs
Nike boots can be a little narrow with the raised arch
You could also check out the reebok boots I have reviewed they are suitable for a wider foot
Thanks for the quick reply man
@Fit2Box is there any chance you could do a review on the powerlock pro fight gloves or mx pro fight gloves
If I get any I will do a review👊🏼👍🏼
Fit2Box thanks for the reply
I have a nike ko in 11.5 and they are great for me, do you think the nike hyperko in 11.5 are the same or should I choose a half size larger?
I found them true to size
ey chap! can you get the boxing shoes that Manny Pacquaio wore in his recent match? The brand is called *Anta*
looks exactly like nike hyper KO. Would be great if you would compare the anta boxing shoe and nike hyper ko.
I’m thinking about buying some boxing shoes and I’m a size 9.5 what size do u recommend me getting ?
Depends what boots?
some are true to size some aren’t
I have the Nike Machomais, those are the best looking and feel. I don't like the KO's with that foam material shit and triangle pattern.
Ja ka I agree. I have the hypers and machomai but the machomai is better than the hypers.
Ja ka, et. al. (and others).
I am curious to learn what features on the MACHOMAI's stand out from the other two Nike boots, and also if anyone thinks the newer KO version have improvements over the MACHOMAI's in terms of performance and feel (not just in appearance).
Thank you in advance for the helpful replies that anyone has to share on this.
Jeff C Machomai has the flexible, breathable mesh. That in itself makes it much better and more of a natural fit to me.
I have beat the shit out of my machinists and the loops that hold the laces are ripped what boots should I buy I’m thinking about the KO’s but I agree with you that the foam and triangle shit won’t feel nice
I got Machomai 2 and they gave me blisters after one hour of training. Do you know any fix for that?
only use them in the ring
What sites would you recommend ordering from. Having a hard time finding the KOs in 9.5.

@@Fit2Box Looks like it's really not my day. I appreciate your efforts. US size 9.5 is a hard find.
Hello, tell me please what to choose nike ko or nike machomai?
i would get nike hyperko but
i guess go for nike ko
what are all of these nikes like to put on? to further explain what i'm asking, i like the reebok bucks because they have the strap at the ankle and those strips and seams between the mesh on the shaft to wrap the laces around and hold them in place for training when you don't feel like/need to lace them up all the way and still get great support almost as if you did.
the reeboks are me current go to boot but I wish the sole wasn't so thick as i really like canvas feel. are the nike soles like they appear (flat on the ground minus the arch with just an insole between your foot and the canvas?)?
does that strange looking strap position on the hyper ko actually do anything? it would seem (just from looking at it) it would be more functional around the ankle, no?
do the arches in the soles give a drastically different feel than traditional flat sole box boots? i realise a lot of this is extremely subjective and i'll have to find out on me own... but any advice is greatly appreciated! Cheers mate!
Hi there So firstly I do love hyper kos I find them very comfortable and love how they look , the strap across the front could be used to bring a little tighter support across the front of the foot but I normally just lay it across as opposed to ‘making tight’ so I agree it is more about aesthetics rather than being massively functional- the thinner sole rounded up onto the sides of the boots give great performance in the ring when it comes to twisting and pivoting- the boots are a mid cut boot so the ankles aren’t ‘locked in’ you can get a little tighter ankle support through use of the laces going round the ankle of the boot- I too like the reebok buck but I am very used to the flat soles of the hyper ko as opposed to the raised thicker soles -I do have arches on my feet so Nike’s raised arches really support my feet and enhance their comfort for me -there has been guys at the gym with flat feet who find Nike soles uncomfortable-I’m not sure if I’ve answered your comment 👀😆👊🏼👍🏼
@@Fit2Box no mate that was perfect! You got everything I was curious about! I'm definitely more confident about purchasing Nike's now.
My foot is fairly flat with a soft arch in them. The Nike sole looks like a mold of me foot actually. I'm excited to hear from someone else who likes the Reebok's yet still prefers the Nike soles.
Now I just have to decide which ones to get lol. At the moment the Machomai and the KO in the black and gold are my front runners. I love the look of the Hyper KO but looks alone aren't enough. I like the simplicity of the Machomai and the slightly more fleshed out KO with technology in all the right places.
I need to find out more about what the Hyper KO does different and I know you have several videos on them so I'm going to check them out.
Like you, my boxing boots are used on canvas only and they last me a long time. I have a variety of 3 usually to accommodate how my feet/ankles feel that day.
Cheers mate! Thank you so much!

Sir, which model is better for flat foot boxer?
Nike normally have the raised arch so maybe a different brand reebok or rival maybe
Would these be good for a wider foot?
Cody Keister
Yes or try the new reebok boots
q
They both have the same sole so there isn't a great deal of difference
the Ko are marginally more roomy on the sides of the boots👊🏼👍🏼
best boxing gloves for sparring under $200?

It looks like these would be great for basketball 😆😆
The look like the Kobe high tops
The Machomais are the best bcoz of its simplicity
Which one is lighter?
Keiran Woods
270g machomai Size 11 uk
310g hyper Ko size 11 uk
I currently haven’t got a Nike Ko to weigh👊🏼👍🏼
Thankyou
Is it worth getting the machomai 2 tokyo
Review coming soon
Do they run true to size ?
Marvin Zanoletti
I have found yes but obviously as mentioned in previous hyper Ko vids
if there is only one size on the label it's more than likely the US size rather than the UK SIZE ,
I have found that a UK size 11 US 12 fit me fine
and I'm a size uk11 in normal training shoes👊🏼👍🏼
Fit2Box thank you appreciate it
Is there are any boxing shoes that are 18 size or 17s shoes I need help
Unless you have custom boxing shoes made you will really struggle my friend who has size fifteen has to wear basketball shoes
@@Fit2Box 😳 🤦🏾🙄 wow I’m sure there something out there
@@drewprofessionalchiller32n69 most boxing shoes go up to 12 Uk or 13 Uk
