Of course, if you turn the hand crank, it will do an animation. Of course if you have Lego power function parts handy you can do the same thing

I think it's a little odd that the last thing you build is the diorama, meaning you have to open up the back to put it inside. I'm presuming that's because how it is arranged in the instructions but it's still strange.
If I was building this set, I would have built the diorama, THEN built the back of the machine.

You can get a real pac arcade game for less
Same for the NES, the Atari 2600, a vintage typewriter, a globe, orchids, succulents, bonsai trees, flower bouquets, models of the Titanic or Eiffel Tower, model cars, and Star Wars toys. If that's the metric you go by, LEGO is not for you.

You must get your Lego sets for free. The way you just dump all the pieces out on top of eachother
