That's weird?? My 1998 bronco with 35 X 12.5 will float once the water gets to about 3/4 up on the tires. I have crossed some deep water and the whole bronco will just float across the water. no need for a snorkel kit.

+Michael Lemke Hell yeah... I saw a Kawasaki Prairie 650 for sale really cheap recently and I wanted it... Until I saw that it had a snorkel and high radiator kit installed. That immediately put me off buying it. Haha. You know whoever owned that thing mudded the hell out of it and beat it to death.
I just got a used one but it wasnt snorkeled and its rad wasnt replicated so I got it

You missed out ! haha i bought one for 2000 with a rad relocate and snorkels .. it was used heavily in mud drags .. i've had it over a year and only had to do minor engine work. had her stuck in a pond for 3 hours in mud past it's 28 inch wheels today lol still running strong !

I missed this ride but that trail has claimed many bikes of all makes and models and builds.. And a few egos lol.. But we will still ride it every year it's not for everyone but it's the extreme of extreme.. And a hell of a good time

To each their own, not passing judgement but I'm watching this thinking how utterly boring it looks.. its like all the annoying aspects of offroading without the fun parts..? It does seem silly, like jumping out of a perfectly functioning airplane. I love the mud, but water like that is just to much, even with snorkels you just find deeper stuff. 5 min of fun = 5 hours of cleaning and maintenance. Great vid though. "Its always deeper than it looks"

I guess you could say that, but thats what snorkals are for, so you can go in deep water. ATV companies are even starting to make snorkals a option out of the factory. ATV all terrain vehicle mud water snow dirt whatever goes Companies even make ATVS for this purpose.... Look up Canam Xmr, Maverick Xmr. And polaris is even making a edition of their RZR a mud vehicle out of the factory.

For everyone who is telling him to go get a boat or jet ski you must be some stupid because if he got a boat there is no way the motor could run for any longer than 5 minutes because all boat motors are liquid cooled by the water they are in so it would suck in all of the mud and other sh*t that is in the water and then over heat and blowup. A jet ski would be even worse because if you get even a twig or something in it it will not run properly so you will have to take it apart to get the twig out. Also I am pretty sure that muddling is considered as a sport. So hopefully this will explain some stuff to you stupid city idiots.

I know this quad is tall and mean looking, but totally driving into a pond is gonna kill it soon or later. I dont fancy that. Ten yrs ago we were on a 4x4 truck trail, a fool whom was a first timer, directly took his chance and cross a lake WITHOUT testing the depth of the waters, his wrangler hit rock bottom of the lake, fully submerged, killing his 2jz motor, killing all option parts worth 8,000USD.
