I used to watch All my Children with my mom often. She loved the show and adored Susan Lucci. She passed away some years ago but All my Children was always the highlight of her day. I often made lunch for her to eat along with the show. Thank you to them all for making such a wonderful show she truly loved.

My mother was the biggest fan of AMC. in May of 2011, she was on her deathbed. She chose to wait till 2pm - the end of that day's AMC episode - to finally leave this world. She even looked like Erica Kane. We spent many a day watching together and talking about it, since the very first episode. Later in 2011 was when AMC finally ended and it broke my heart just as much as losing my mom. I so wish we could have it back at its regular time slot with as many original actors as possible. I hate afternoon TV on ABC now (especially "the view" - ugh!) - except for General Hospital - and that because it is the only soap opera left.
I can relate in a way. In the early 90s, I was a teenage boy with a single mom. We often didn't see eye to eye, but the one thing we did together is watch All My Children. I stopped watching when I went to university. When I see old episodes online, it brings back a lot of nostalgia.
I remember watching this last show. I miss this show so very much. Especially since I was raised with it in my life, my mom was a fan. It was an awesome story. I got into oltl later, but this show was really a part of my life. God bless the entire cast. They were truly the best.

I only watched for 3 years between 1994 and 199, and then intermittently between 1997 and 2001. Loved AMC. To have a run of 51years? Much respect, much respect.

The best ever!! I watched these 5 shows every summer out if school with my grandmother since I was 5 !! They still at 53 feel like family!! Gid bless these talented actresses and actors and I miss AMC everyday along with OLTL!! So great to see again and I watched all the way up to them being taken off daytime and what a mistake that was. NOTHING COULD BEAT AMC AND OLTL! Miss this show so much. I still keep up with them as much as poss. Grew uo watching AMC Y/R DAYS OLTL GH..5 of the greatest shows ever to grace TV!! This just popped up and I never got to see this one I remember watching with my grandma back when it was a half hour and black and white before she died I made a promise that I would watch to the end, now in my 60's I have been able to keep my promise thanks to the person who posted this you have made me cry 😢in the best way thank you
Sad that so many of the orginal cast from this iconic soap have passed on. Watched the very first episode as a young teen back in 1970 and was a fan until the end. The show's entire aura, unlike the soaps of the 60's, led to the inspiration for all those prime time soaps that came along later in that decade, such as Dallas, Knots Landing and Falcon Crest.
It's crazy, AMC was just getting back to a show I recognized. The cast was shaping back up and the storylines were getting back to their 90s rhythm - and then they cancelled it. So ridiculous. You can tell in this episode, the show was firing on all cylinders.
Dr David Haywood was my all time favorite character. He was so complex. When he was good he was so good but when he was bad he was so so bad. I am not sure why but there were a lot of times where I found myself routing for him. Vincent Irizarry played him to perfection

Old posts but want say th for sharing. AMC was my grandma, moms show and my as well as my girls teething biscuits. It didn't just make me cry but I felt same way I did when it aired. Then cried further when I thought of the world then as compared to now. Only half joking but many not us thought our worlds forever negatively changed, and they have, so I propose if we bring back soaps it Will be a far happier world.
AMC should have never went off. Bold and the Beautiful has never been that great and only a 1/2 hr show and it’s still on 🤷🏻♀️🙄 They totally screwed up taking AMC off. So miss Susan and Walt

I started watching in the late 70s. Kim Delaney is had a crush on as jenny. The show had very intriguing story lines but without susan it would be another show she elevated that show because of agnes nixon belief and it became one of the best. I grew up watching ryans hope then amc one life to live then gh. Back when there were soap operas and game shows galore.
For all you big All My Children fans out there who are still upset about it get getting canceled, just be thankful that Susan Lucci finally got an Emmy before that happened.
Airing classic episodes of AMC & OLTL would be better than the ENDLESS cycle of NEWS that airs on ABC everyday. It gets to the point that it’s not news anymore (I’m just saying).

I still miss All My Children & One Life To Live, canceling them was the BIGGEST MISTAKE that ABC has ever made, just to put a bunch of Boring Talk Shows on in their place! And I know that they know it was a mistake but won’t admit it & bring AMC & OLTL back. And the way AMC ended was awful & was disrespectful to all of us who had watched it for all those years, they left us hanging with a cliff hanger we never got to finish. Don’t say it was on line cause all of us did not have that option. Am I still a little angry… you bet!!

My mama and I kinda grew up together due to her being 16 whenever I was born. I remember watching her brush her long hair in the mirror everyday. Running home from school to watch "All My Children" Never missed an episode! This soap-opera was my one & only favorite "soap" followed by "General Hospital" & the "Young and the Restless". In fact I remember the time when I wrote a "FAN letter" to "Walt Willey" who played "Jackson Montgomery". I had requested an autograph picture of him. But I knew I wouldn't receive such a "request". But low & behold! I couldn't believe it!!! I was shocked!! When I was actually holding "Walt Willey's" autograph picture in my hands! I was so "HAPPY!" I Cried! I just remember how "Handsome!" this man looked! Till this day I still have "Walt Willey's" autograph picture! Will probably get "buried" with it! LOL! I miss those times back in the day! As you all probably know to this day, General Hospital is the only soap opera that ABC has left

I never followed soaps but I really think it was a bad move to cancel the lot of them when they did.

Jacob Young loved this show so much that he couldn't play Rick Forrester on Bold and The Beautiful because he loved and missed AMC Too much that he left
I watched it for 26 years and met a lot of the cast.
I remember watching the show when I was a little girl with my mom Sure, miss it those days. Every now then I pull it up on my phone. To watch It sometimes It takes Me back in the days.

Bringing all the characters back, they must have known the show was ending.
As a huge soap fan, now that is the way to end the show. If it had to end.
I watched soaps with my sister during the summer in the late 80’s early 90’s. Who remembers the time the soaps were on. In California on ABC. I can’t remember what was on before probably a morning news show.

Old posts but want say th for sharing. AMC was my grandma, moms show and my as well as my girls teething biscuits. It didn't just make me cry but I felt same way I did when it aired. Then cried further when I thought of the world then as compared to now. Only half joking but many not us thought our worlds forever negatively changed, and they have, so I propose if we bring back soaps it Will be a far happier world.
My Heart Aches for this show ! I miss it so much ! Please bring it back

AMC should have never went off. Bold and the Beautiful has never been that great and only a 1/2 hr show and it’s still on 🤷🏻♀️🙄 They totally screwed up taking AMC off. So miss Susan and Walt

I did not watch AMC. Saw a few episodes to know few characters. I did watch B&B for a while. It isn't very good and I don't know how it is still on. I grew up watching soaps on CBS in the 70s into the 80s. GL and ATWT canceled decade ago, too. Part of my childhood gone. I don't watch any soaps anymore..

I started watching in the late 70s. Kim Delaney is had a crush on as jenny. The show had very intriguing story lines but without susan it would be another show she elevated that show because of agnes nixon belief and it became one of the best. I grew up watching ryans hope then amc one life to live then gh. Back when there were soap operas and game shows galore.

For all you big All My Children fans out there who are still upset about it get getting canceled, just be thankful that Susan Lucci finally got an Emmy before that happened.

Airing classic episodes of AMC & OLTL would be better than the ENDLESS cycle of NEWS that airs on ABC everyday. It gets to the point that it’s not news anymore (I’m just saying).

It was so hard to see this episode for the first time I was so angry when this show got canceled it broke my heart 😢 seeing it now I still can't believe it I grew to love all these characters even the ones I hated 💔 😢😢

I still miss All My Children & One Life To Live, canceling them was the BIGGEST MISTAKE that ABC has ever made, just to put a bunch of Boring Talk Shows on in their place! And I know that they know it was a mistake but won’t admit it & bring AMC & OLTL back. And the way AMC ended was awful & was disrespectful to all of us who had watched it for all those years, they left us hanging with a cliff hanger we never got to finish. Don’t say it was on line cause all of us did not have that option. Am I still a little angry… you bet!!
Yeah I hated it to. And I miss. All my children and one life to live. Sucks. Why did they. Take them. Off. They still have general hospital. Thank God.

My mama and I kinda grew up together due to her being 16 whenever I was born. I remember watching her brush her long hair in the mirror everyday. I remember watching soaps with her wondering why she cried like it was real life. Then raising my family as a stay at home mom I watched them still. I miss this one

It's too bad they tried to carry it over to online with this cliffhanger, and not just end the show with dignity like Search for Tomorrow did.
I'm all for evolving but I really miss all my children from the 80's and the early 90's it was wonderful to around 99, then the characters got way to self righteous.
I never watched AMC, but as a 40 year fan of soaps, this was so good and so sad. I can't imagine how I will feel when Days of Our Lives ends. 😢

"Happy Thanksgiving!" Everyone!! Nov. "2023" WOW! I'm enjoying! Watching the "Complete Final Episode" of "All My Children". WOW! it takes me back to my teenage years! What memories! Running home from school to watch "All My Children" Never missed an episode! This soap-opera was my one & only favorite "soap" followed by "General Hospital" & the "Young and the Restless". In fact I remember the time when I wrote a "FAN letter" to "Walt Willey" who played "Jackson Montgomery". I had requested an autograph picture of him. But I knew I wouldn't receive such a "request". But low & behold! I couldn't believe it!!! I was shocked!! When I was actually holding "Walt Willey's" autograph picture in my hands! I was so "HAPPY!" I Cried! I just remember how "Handsome!" this man looked! Till this day I still have "Walt Willey's" autograph picture! Will probably get "buried" with it! LOL! I miss those times back in the day! It went by too fast!! Give anything to relive those "precious" 💞 times! "All My Children" will live forever in my heart!!! ❤ Della R. ❤

The sad part is that the Erica/Jackson fans, who had supported this show for 20 years didn't get what we wanted and deserved. Pretty much everyone else did.
I wish we can have all the days of our lives from the very first season till now. That would be nice
Wasn't the final episode. The show came back for 5 months on Hulu and other streaming services in 2013.
