I Alim is gonna get 8 sacks, this year. Just because of Reader, is that man! I believe Hutchinson, gets 17.! These happen, during the regular season, book it!!!!
That's what people don't realize... Reader demands the double team every down, freeing up our edge rushers. We didn't have that before and look at the motor on Hutch. Imagine every down he meets the same tackle, he will get sacks.

If everyone is healthy, which is a big if, the lions are as good as any D line in league.
What did Will Anderson have 7 sacks? Not bad I guess.
It doesn’t take much to have a good 43 DL. Hutchinson is a fine LDE. Davenport is an above average edge setter at RDE. DT is quite literally the easiest position to sub and replace on defense. Alim & Reader are fine starters. You got nice depth with Paschal & Cominsky. You could even slide Hutchinson inside where he optimally belongs.
I won’t call it a top 5 DL. But it’s definitely not a concern. Not like LB or DB.
Are you high? Our LB are good. Anzelone has been lights out. Campbell too, even as a rookie. Even in coverage he was good last year (despite PFF’s misleading “grade”). There’s a coach who does great positional film breakdowns who did a whole video on Campbell you should watch and educate yourself. Our DBs will be fine if not good. It’s very hard to imagine them NOT being a massive upgrade over the scrubs we had playing last year considering the additions we made, it is near a guarantee that a few studs rise to the top in competition. Having a better d-line improves the DB play and vice versa. Idk where you come up with your criticisms every off season. And when the defense plays well this season, you will be nowhere to be found in the comments anymore (just like last year when you made bad takes and disappeared during the season).

Love my Lions but no...what's stopping us from being that is the right end position.. until we draft a big mean mfka like HUTCH...on the right side..we not that Davenport is alright but he ain't no show stopper and Houston gotta learn to stay healthy
