Iberostar Grand Bavaro Punta cana.

We spent 11 nights here in October 2022, if your considering staying in punta cana this is a solid choice!
this is not an in-depth review, more an overview based on my observations.
POSITIVES
As the name suggests this hotel is very grand with immaculate grounds and there's an army of staff dedicated to its upkeep.
The pools, there's 3 pools and I enjoyed them all, there's quiet areas if you want to relax or more lively areas with staff entertainment if you get bored.
Entertainment, obviously this is subjective but I feel there was enough to keep me entertained from vocalists, musicians to acrobatics and shows in the theatre.
Staff & service, the staff here were an absolute credit to iberostar and the service was equally as good!
Beach, the beach was as nice as any Caribbean beaches I've visited over the last 20+ years of travelling around the Caribbean!
NEGATIVES
FOOD & DINING
I personally found the food in the main restaurants to be a little hit and miss, however the buffet restaurant near the pools for lunch
was my favourite especially the seafood.
The beach vendors, they were a nuisance, constantly pestering, I understand they are just trying to make a living but they were relentless
although not aggressive.
People reserving sun loungers around the pools and on the beach, if you wanted a lounger with a shade you need to be up no later than
7am! there was small signs on the cabanas but the rule was not enforced. Whilst this is common globally I feel with the amount of staff
at this property they could easily rectify this which would make the whole experience much better, after all who wants to get up at 7AM?
Overall the iberostar Grand Bavaro is an excellent choice and you won't be disappointed!
