- In this videos we try out FSD 12.3 on a 2019 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus. Some customers ask us if FSD will work on older Teslas. FSD will work on Most Teslas model years 2017 and newer, though they could need some hardware upgrades for it to operate. We talk about the Full Self Driving Computer and some of the differences of Hardware 3 and Hardware 4, as well as upcoming Hardware 5 also known as AI5 as well has older hardware like the Autopilot Computer 2.5. my 2021 Tesla model 3 standard plus rear wheel drive is only running v12.3.6 Hardware 3 ( Intel atom chip) has not had the 12.5 update compiled for the older system yet as of Aug 12th,2024. I'm hoping that it can be updated to run 12.5 and Tesla doesn't stop supporting us.

Today, one of those Tesla cars dangerously squeezed into traffic beside my vehicle, forcing me to brake urgently. Although it didn't leave its lane, but the maneuver was so reckless that no human driver would behave that way. Because of urgent brakes, my son ended up throwing up all over everything around us. I hate Teslas.
We hate you too! LOL. How do you know the Tesla that performed a dangerous maneuver was using FSD? I've been using FSD for awhile now and it doesn't take any risks like what you describe. Hating a car brand is stupid. Hate the driver, not the equipment! How silly!
