Her room is so adorable. You may not really use the rocking chair now but there will come a time when she doesn't feel well or something and she may want to cuddle with Mommy and be rocked.

My jaw dropped when I saw this. I honestly wish I was able to post a picture comment of my daughters nursery because it's literally identical. Actually it's pretty freaky how identical they are. Same crib, same colors, same tissue pom poms, same everything. OMG. I guess we have awesome taste! Haha

Just wondering what people did with all the newborn and nursery gifts when the baby goes to a toddler bed and everything in the room changes.
Lexie Rose most cribs change to toddler beds if not toddlers can still sleep in a crib wont kill them as toddlers they pretty much really play with the toys they understand them more and clothes give them to others or donate them or keep them if u decide to have more children later

Why take the bumpers off? They are supposed to be there to protect them from the cot either banging themselves or getting a limb stuck in the spaces. I am confused. The room is amazing though, so wish I had been able to do that for my 2 :0) xxxJoolsxxx
You take them off to keep them from smothering, if they happen to roll and smash their face into the bumper :)
ashley harris OK personally I would rather them on than off, if they are old enough to roll then they are old enough to roll back IFYSWIM.
I guess it's really just a matter of personal preference, but it is recommended to protect from SIDS. Because since all babies are different some do start rolling over before they are at the age to where they realize they can't breathe. BUT my son actually never used a crib, we co-sleep, which is no better than keeping bumpers on a crib. It's very recommended to not co-sleep. I personally like the bumpers too, but since I never used bumpers, or a crib for that matter, I can't really say from experience. :)
ashley harris I have always said no one knows a child as well as its mother and at the end of the day you do what works for you. I don't see anything wrong with co sleeping as I know on the few times my son was in with me I had an in built alarm and would never roll in his direction. Its hard for new mums with all the different advice they throw at them, but I am sure what ever decision they make Mum knows best :0)
And mother instincts kick in as soon as you deliver, so I agree :)
those pom poms are easy to make lol my mom makes them..
