I think you're partially correct. In champ, you usually have decent aerial control and it's when you can start incorporating air roll, but you should not rely on it as it's a difficult mechanic to master and can easily throws you off. As a GC1 with more focus on positioning and team plays, I only use it when I feel it's the only way (like to hit the ball the way I need to), otherwise that's just an unconsidered risk of whiffing just to be fancy which is pretty common to see in lower ranks like diamond.
You should make one of these where there are professional coaches trying to guess a player's rank. The player would be chosen like most of your contestants and at the end of a series of challenges at your choosing, the coaches will try to guess their rank. If the coaches guess at or above the rank that player said, they would win a $100. If anyone thinks this is a good idea, please like and comment so Striped sees this. Thanks
I'd love to try this challenge sometime. I'm champ 1/2, can barely flip reset among other mechanics, plus I have a lot more hours in the game than I should for my rank. Around 3500 total across PC and console. In my opinion, I'd say I play like a high plat or maybe a diamond, so it'd be interesting to see what people guess my rank as.
Don’t bully the champ bc he lost to a d1. It’s very easy to get to champ and have no mechanics. You can get there with just really good rotations and making sure to score those open nets.

If I get thrown on a video and asked what mechs I have ima say I can ground dribble across the map successfully 25% of the time and can make 40% of open nets and without bullshitting my mechs no one will be able to guess my rank 😂
Striped I have a video idea, what if the “guests” have 5 lives to guess the rank of the player biased on their mechanics but there are some smurfs and if it is a smurph, after you give the rank the “ guest” has to call out loud smurph and if they get it wrong they lose a life and the prize is your choice
You could try a video where there’s a bunch of diamonds who are all trying to “guess the diamond” but they’re all told to pretend to be champ

Honestly a lot of these mechanics are not optimal for ranked games. Positioning/ awareness is way more important.

Best diamond ive ever seen, im a diamond too but im still learning basic air dribbles and i can sometimes do resets but my game sense is my strength
