We haven't had a Pastor in over 100 years. I do not know how we have survived thus far, nor do I know how or why we have gone so long without one. The Lord is gracious, we get a preacher every week but we need a Pastor.

Dear Paul. You're correct. Nothing can replace the local church if there were true Shepherds like yourself. David Wilkerson. Carter Conlon. David Jeremiah. And such men. But unfortunately in this era of history here in he USA theres scarcely a remnant of those who are playing games. Sensationalizing the assembly. False worship. 29 minute specials. Few labor apart from assembling on their faces or study of the word. Let alone the hirelings that are behind the pulpit. Lattes. The latest book. DC's. Successful worship artists.. Denominationalism. The list is endless. I've walked out of at least 20 or so churches in the last few years. My hearts broken. I long for corporate assembly and union in the Holy Ghost. True authentic heart rending. Life changing altar calls. The message of the Cross. Teaching about Heaven and Hell. Theres so much Rock n Roll. Disorder. Worldliness. Will we ever be able to find a corporate assembly where there are true Shepherds as you describe ? 😭💔

the sad part is, it's very very hard to find actual shepherds who know what it means to be a shepherd... It's mostly those that know about giving a sermon on Sundays and organizing events but when it comes to actually SHEPHERDING the flock of God (Acts 20:28), watching over their souls (Heb 13:17) - knowing what's actually going on in their lives, being involved in their lives, you can almost never find them.
Bless those who actually do what pastors are supposed to do.

Thank you brother Paul! I am blessed to have wonderful elders, deacons and gifted brothers at my church! The preach and teach biblically! Although I admit I don't pray for them daily I do pray for them and their families, I also try to lift them up with encouraging words and thank you's, which is important!

Not to sound like a weirdo, but Paul has been my favorite preacher of all time, I listen to a lot of his sermons on sermon audio. But he's right. I need to get off CZcams church, and go to my real pastor who can counsel, and love me the way I should be.

I struggle with myself to go to my church because of men like you, and Sugel Michelén, or Miguel Núñez.
You the kind of pastors churches all over need.
I struggle, because in my church the Gospel is not preached as I've heard from your sermons or the sermons of your friends I mentioned.
I know exactly GOD had called me to be at that church but every time, every single time, when I heard preaching I disagree with the teachings that are tought.
In a church when women can preach, even with so bad theology, it is heard from me.
Yes I've prayed for the person which is guiding the church, which is not a pastor, but believe me, I'm struggling with GOD too to not go there but find an other church.
The former pastor which was put on the road, has the same battle as well.....
But, thank you for reminding me my duty. I've been called to pray for him.

They are truly blessed who have such a pastor. May the brethren who have such pray for us who do not have such a privilege. (And I'm not talking about a lack of eloquence or fame... I'm talking about open apostasy--the introduction of LGBT members, the holding of "alpha courses"--look this one up, ecumenism and calling Catholics our brethren... women pastors. All this in the "church" I had grown up in--which had not been so brazen in its wickedness in times past, only recently). We are not in a place where there are many things called "churches" to begin with and our people have nowhere else to go. Please pray for us for the removal of these apostate pastors!
Come out from among them and be separate. A little leaven leaven’s the whole lump. Maybe it’s time to start a home fellowship of sincere believers?

Hi brother Paul. I have been trying to learn from the teacher at my home church, and I've been learning the scriptures (hopefully correctly - so please correct me if I go astray anywhere below). I see how I was taught one way growing up in Calvary Chapel, and now I am learning another way. I am learning that 1 tim 3 can be used for the pastor in Calvary if you see pastor as the bishop/elder, etc..., or it can be used for the elders (separate of pastor). when I look up pastor in the new testament (or the entirety of scripture), there is only 1 verse (eph 4:11) with the actual title of pastor and no one is named by name as a pastor anywhere in the Bible or in early church history (i've been learning about church history too). Eph 4:11 combines pastor with teacher (based on the word "some"), and so if we use teacher/ pastor, then a teacher is 3rd in authority behind the elders (who succeeded the apostles) according to 1 cor 12. How one sees these i'm learning is now determining which denomination you fall into. Every denomination sees their way as the right way, but there has to be one way that is right i'm thinking. I learned that no one man should have full authority (pastor) because if you use bishop as pastor, then multiple bishops oversaw philippi (Philippians 1:1 - plural). Praise God I have lost my taste for pride in any denomination, and now I just want truth, no matter what anyone thinks of me. I came from a calvary where they elected just anyone to be the pastor and the guy could not teach. He was built to serve, he was the hand that assumed the teaching position. I told him that he robbed the body by removing both the hand and the mouth from our local gathering. I said that he did not have the "gift" of teaching (Romans 12:6-8) and that we should wait and pray for God to send us the man who does and they said there is no such thing as the gift of teaching. I am definitely not barnabas, but more of a Paul. I am looking for a standard and trying to hold to that standard but learn from the sons of encouragement that God has surrounded me with. I asked God what He wanted me to do and I tried to do that and I got kicked out of my local gathering. I am learning that doing what God tells you to do does not mean things will go well according to what I think will happen after that. My ears are open to what you are saying, but I'm also trying to learn and test what you are saying against the scriptures. I really do enjoy listening to you.
Hello Mr. Paul, how are you? I wanted to ask you, would you and/or the other men at heartcry missionary society be able to do a study/ meditation on Genesis 1-11?
What if you can’t find a church that is sold in the word ? It seems a lot of the church are not teaching biblically.
An what do we do if our Pastors are not? They are telling story's or being mechanical.
How is this for Brazil? Did I miss something?
The real churches are not in buildings right now. They compromise the Gospel to have a firm and stable salary, something that should not even envolved in priesthood . To imitate Jesus in every Way is a very High calling that i see no preacher embracing. To live by faith, casting Down festivals with roots in Babylon, costs everything. A real preacher is everyone that had an encounter with Jesus and does not sell the message. They pay for people to hear. I found lots of truth hidden behind of false doctrines when i stepped out of One of those buildings with an obelisk architeture that is called Church . The real Church are scattered because of false teachers and pastors that only Care for their earthly survival.

Yes, I agree, it’s hard to find a sound, biblical church. I am very fortunate to have found a great local family of believers with a humble pastor who is a wonderful teacher and a praying man. They are out there, but usually not in large buildings, I have found.

@@cynthiafisher9907 that's what is said but it's not possible with all the missionarys sent there over the last 100 years....I think it's money laundering??
@@kcstafford2784 Some of it might be, but I support a couple of missionary organizations that I know are actually reaching out to the lost and ministering to the native believers. It’s a good idea to be careful who you send money to. I stopped supporting one organization and changed my mind about supporting a couple others because of things like that.
