Then why do you go to mechanic to fix your car? Why have a job to earn money? Visit Doctor for medical help? Sit with a teacher for learning? Call ambulance if you think your having a heart attack? Visit Shops for buying food?
      Whats your response to this???

It is related from Anas, "If there was a drought, 'Umar ibn al-Khattab would askal-'Abbas ibn 'Abdu'l-Muttalib to do the rain prayer. He would say, 'O Allah we would seek intercession with You by Your Prophet and we would ask you for rain, now we seek intercession with You by the uncle of our Prophet, so give us rain!'" He added, "And they were given rain." (Sahih Bukhari Book:Al istasqa Chapter: Suaal An Nas Al Imam Alistasqa iza Qahatu Page : 245 Hadith number:1010)
It was narrated from 'Uthman bin Hunaif that a blind man came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) and said: "Pray to Allah to heal me." He said: "If you wish to store your reward for the Hereafter, that is better, or if you wish, I will supplicate for you." He said: "Supplicate." So he told him to perform ablution and do it well, to pray two Rak'ah, and to say this supplication: "Allahumma lnni as'aluka wa atawajjahu ilaika bimuhammadin nabiyyir-rahma. Ya Muhammadu inni qad tawajjahtu bika ila rabbi fi hajati hadhihi lituqda. Allahumma fashaffi’hu fiya (O Allah, I ask of You and I turn my face towards You by virtue of the intercession of Muhammad the Prophet of mercy. O Muhammad, I have turned to my Lord by virtue of your intercession concerning this need of mine so that it may be met. O Allah, accept his intercession concerning me)"
(Tirmidhī in al-Jami-us-sahīh, book of da‘awat (supplications) ch.119 (5:569#3578) where he declared it "HASAN SAHIH GHARIB") (Ibn Majah transmitted it in his Sunan, book of Iqamat al-salat wa al-sunnat (establishing prayer and its sunnahs)[Page 197, Hadith No#1385)
Malik ad-Dar i.e. treasurer of Umar (RA) relates: The people were gripped by famine during the tenure of Umar (Ibn-ul-Khattab). Then a man walked up to the grave of Prophet and said: O Messenger of Allah! ask for rain from Allah for your Ummah who is in dire straits. Then he saw the Prophet (SAW) in dream. The Prophet (SAW) said to him, Go over to Umar, give him my regards and tell him that the rain will come to you. And tell Umar that he should be on his toes, he should be on his toes (he should remain alert). He went over to see Umar and passed on to him the tidings. On hearing this, Umar broke into a spurt of crying. He said, O Allah, I exert myself to the full until I am completely exhausted.

Even if some Muslim in pain or problem out of love call Rasool Allah we should not label him as kufr bcse his niyyat or intention of calling is out love not same as calling Allah.Till a person say openly Rasool Allah is equal to Allah till thn we should not give judgement on tht particular person as kufr ..even khalid bin waleed Razi Allah anhu used to keep the hair of Prophey under his hat out of love thr r many examples normal mind like us cant understand the depth of it

Already He knows that upon which you [stand] and [knows] the Day when they will be returned to Him and He will inform them of what they have done. butttt I also agree this is not Bid’ah by the definition that Muhammad gave in bukhari and muttawatir reports - “any new thing” …”which is that OF the religion” - it may be wrong, it may okay to do every once in a while - but there is not one thing of SOLID proof to say that anything other than salem to the prophet (saw) after his death is permissible - so unless its proven otherwise, I would not touch it with a 10 foot pole
but you may disagree with me here but the Ash’arites are imo way more overall sensible and knowledgeable when it comes to areas such as kalam and so forth - without ever going over the top …. BUT this is the ONE THING I just dont understand why 1/2 the ash’aris find “100%” permissible

and then quotes verses and sayings to make his statements without quoting their scholarly exegesis and explanation.
to conclude abdur Rahman mostly made claims while asrar rashid supported his statements with proof.
there was sadly not much focus on one single point because either of the parties jumped back and forth on topics thus urging the other to respond.

I find Sh Asrar's argument - that asking the Prophet (s) in his grave is not shirk because this entail asking him to ask Allah [and not independent of Allah] - as disingenuous. In reality what he is defending is statements such as: "“Yaa Muhammad we plea to you, Oh beloved of Allah we plea to you, I am in extreme difficulty nowadays, Oh my remover of difficulties I am pleading to you.” How can such statements not be Shrik? Who are these duas directed to - Allah or the Prophet? Asrar also said that he does not negate asking other dead beside the Rasool (s), so no wonder some of his pirs allow asking of the dead with statements such as: “Yaa Abdul Qaadir give us something for the sake of Allah.” What does such statement amount to, if not shrik?

    • @mz8452
      @mz8452 Před 5 lety +2

It’s not who you’re calling to that’s the issue. The issue is when you worship other than Allah. Calling on someone is not worshipping him, as worship is defined as غاية الخشوع والخضوع by taqi ud din as subkiyy: meaning “the pinnacle of fear and submission”. If I called you and asked you to help me with something, this does not mean I worship you. I still believe that Allah is the creator of harm and benefit as he created everything: و خلق كل شيء but you in the situation I’m calling you are a means by which I seek the obtain the benefit created by Allah.
Moving on, you being alive or dead does not increase or decrease Allah’s power to do anything, since he is without need. Asking the prophet while he’s alive or dead has thus absolutely no weight on Allah’s creating harm or benefit. Rather, the Prophet has the highest status in creation and so pleading Allah by using his rank and status is absolutely fine.
Long story short, if a person says ya rasullAllah, as long as they know and believe that Allah is the creator of harm and benefit, this is not a problem.

The Almighty: (And we did not send a messenger except to obey) that is, his obedience was imposed on those who sent him to them and his saying: (God willing) Mujahid said: That is, no one obeys except with my permission. Meaning: He does not obey them except by those who have complied with it, such as his saying: (And God has believed and promised you when you feel for them with his permission) [Al-Imran: 52] That is, about his command, his destiny, and his will, and his authority over them.
And his saying: (And if they had wronged themselves, they came to you, and sought forgiveness from God and the Messenger of forgiveness for them, they would have found God to be merciful.) May God have mercy on them and forgive them. That is why he said: (Let us find God merciful and repentant)
A group of them mentioned: Sheikh Abu Nasr bin Al-Sabbagh in his book "Al-Shamil" the famous story on the authority of Al-Atabi. He said: I was sitting at the grave of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and an Arab came and said: Peace be upon you, O Messenger of God. They wronged themselves, they came to you, so seek forgiveness from God and ask forgiveness for them, the Messenger, to find God a merciful repentance.
O the best of those who are buried in the bottom, the greatest is the best of their goodness, and the best is the redemption for the grave you inhabit
The chastity and the generosity and kindness
Then the Bedouin turned away and my eyes overtook me, and I saw the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, in sleep. He said: O my thine, the Arab truth, so give him good tidings that God has forgiven him.

Asking the prophet while he’s alive or dead has this absolutely no weight on Allah’s creating harm or benefit. Rather, the Prophet has the highest status in creation and so pleasing Allah by using his rank and status is absolutely fine.
Long story short, if a person says ya rasullAllah, as long as they know and believe that Allah is the creator of harm and benefit, this is not a problem.

There is also a narration from Anas ra when during the reign of Umar ra there was a drought so Umar ra asked Al-Abbas ra to make dua to Allah swt for rain. Umar ra specifically mentioned that "we USED to ask the Proohet saws to make dua" because the Prophet saws was deceased at this point. Al-Abbas ra was alive, present, and able so the 3 conditions were met. If it were permissible to make istighatha to the Prophet saws after death it would make no sense to skip over the Prophet saws and ask Abbas ra to make dua.

More than one of the scholars has clearly stated that what some of the ignorant Muslims do of focusing their devotion on graves is the essence of what the earlier mushrikeen used to do.
Ar-Raazi (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his commentary on the verse from Soorat Yoonus quoted above, explaining the explanations that the mushrikeen gave for their worship of idols:
And other scholars of salaf also said that they made these idols and statues in the image of their Prophets and great men, and claimed that if they devoted themselves to worshipping these statues, those great men would be intercessors for them with Allah, may He be exalted. The equivalent to that in our own times is the devotion of many people to venerating the graves of great men, in the belief that if they venerate their graves, they will intercede for them with Allah.

@@Spottedapnaviral and i suppose you have evidence of Muhammed ibn Abdul Wahhaab selling himself to "secret societies"?
Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhaab was both a fellow human being and a fellow Muslim. As such, he has the right to be studied in an impartial and objective manner. That is, he has the right to a “fair trial.” No matter how much one may oppose his teachings, one does not have the right to wrong him. Indeed, the Prophet (PBUH) has warned, “Wrongdoing [shall be] darkness on the Day of Resurrection.” (Recorded by al-Bukhari and Muslim.) When speaking about another person, such as ibn Abdul Wahhaab or his followers, one should remember the Prophet’s teaching, “All of a Muslim is inviolable to every other Muslim, with respect to his blood, wealth and honor.” (Recorded by Muslim.) One must also be cautious of the Prophet’s warning,
“Beware of the supplication of the wronged for between him and Allah there is no barrier.” (Recorded by al-Bukhari and Muslim.) Even if one wants to argue that ibn Abdul Wahhaab and his followers are not to be considered Muslims, one should be wary of speaking untruths about them, so it is upto you who has made this claim of him being sold to secret societies to prove it with evidence. May Allah protect anf guide us all to the straight path...Ameen

For example, Sajdah was ordered by Allah Ta'ala for Adam (as) and we find Prophet Yousef's (as) bothers and parents giving him Sajdah out of respect. But this Sajdah of respect was later abrogated and Allah Ta'ala the Legislator made it absolute Shirk. Likewise ruling re istigatha may not be absolute, i.e. allowed when a person is alive and is able to help while shrik when he is dead.

    Some notes about Wahhabism:
    • Muhammad ibn ’Abd al-Wahhâb belonged to the Banî Tamîm tribe. He was born in Uyaina village near the town of Huraimila in the Najd Desert in 1111 A.H. (1699) and died in 1206 (1792). Formerly, with the idea of trading, he went to Basra, Baghdad, Iran, India and Damascus, where he won the name “Shaikh an- Najdî” due to his clever and aggressive attitude. He saw and learnt a great deal at these places and set his heart on the idea of becoming a chief. In 1125 (1713 A.D.), he met Hempher, a British spy, in Basra, who understood that this inexperienced young person (ibn 'Abd al-Wahhâb) has a desire to be a chief by way of revolution, established a long-term friendship with him. He inspired him the tricks and lies that he had learned from the British Ministry of the Commonwealth. Seeing that Muhammad enjoys these inspirations, he proposed him to establish a new religion. So, the spy and Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab got what they were looking for. He had thought it proper to found a new tarîqa to reach his goal, and, in preparation for this goal, attended the lectures of the Hanbalî ’ulamâ’ in the blessed city of Medina and later in Damascus for some time. When he went back to the Najd, he wrote pamphlets on religious subjects for villagers.(for the most part, from Ayyûb Sabri Pasha’s Turkish work Mir’ât al-Haramain; 5 volumes, Matba’a-i Bahriye, Istanbul, 1301-1306 A.H.)
    • ’Abd al-’Azîz ibn Muhammad, who believed in the Wahhabîs, declared war for the first time in 1205 A.H. (1791) against the amîr of Mecca, Sharîf Ghâlib Effendi. They had disseminated Wahhâbism secretly till then. They had killed and tortured many Muslims, enslaved their women and children and usurped their possessions.(Ibid)
    • As-Sayyid Ahmad ibn Zainî Dahlân (rahmat-Allâhi ’alaihi), Muftî of the blessed city of Mecca, described under the topic “Al- fitnat al-Wahhâbiyya” the tenets of Wahhâbism and the tortures the Wahhâbis inflicted upon Muslims?(Al-futûhât al-Islâmiyya, second volume, page 228, Cairo, 1387 (1968); photo-offset reproduction of a comparable part, Istanbul, 1395 (1975).) He wrote: “To deceive the ’ulamâ’ of Ahl as-Sunna in Mecca and Medina, they sent their men to these cities, but these men could not answer the questions of the Muslim ’ulamâ’. It became evident that they were ignorant heretics. A verdict declaring them disbelievers was written and distributed everywhere. Sharîf Mas’ûd ibn Sa’îd, Amîr of Mecca, ordered that the Wahhâbîs should be imprisoned. Some Wahhâbîs fled to Dar’iyya and recounted what had happened to them.”(Ibid, p. 234.)
    • ‘Abd al-Wahhab(the Father of Muhammad ibn abdul Wahhab) was a righteous man who foresaw rebellion in his son since his boyhood, bore dislike for him, and used to say: “He will cause great corruption.”(Narrated in al-Suhub al-Wabila fi Tarajim al-Hanabila.)
    • Wahhabis, since their formation, have repeatedly accused Muslims of shirk: “His ultimate confusion is his imputation of dis- belief to all those who do not follow him. Upon this lying imputation he built his innovation and heresy and all his foul errors, claiming they over- venerated the graves of Prophets - upon them blessings and peace - and those of the Friends of Allah - may He benefit us through them - “to the point that they would ask from them what Allah alone is able to bestow.”(Habib ‘Alawi ibn Ahmad al-Haddad, Refutation of the Innovator of Najd, Translation & Notes G.F. Haddad Damascus 1420/1999)
    • Muhammad bin Hamid Al-Najdi, from his chapter on Shaykh Abdul Wahhab, the father of Mohammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab: "He is the father of the Wahhabbi da'wah founder; Mohammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab, whose controversy spread to many places. Even though Mohammad did not publicly preach his ideas and teachings until after his fathers death, I was told by some scholars on the authority of the scholars who lived during Ibn Abdul Wahhabs lifetime, that his father (Abdul Wahhab) was extremely angry with him for not learning fiqh from the shaikhs and scholars of Najd, and that Shaykh Abdul Wahhab predicted his son would be the cause of unrest. Shaykh Abdul Wahhab would say to people: 'You will witness evil from Mohammad'. The Shaykh's son Sulaiman; brother of Mohammad, was also against the teachings of Mohammad and refuted them with Quranic verses and hadiths, because Mohammad would not accept anything else as evidence. He refused all the opinions and rulings of the Imams of Ahlus-Sunnah except those of Ibn Taymiyyah and his student Ibnul Qayyim, he considered their works almost sacred and infallible. He used the words of Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibnul Qayyim to argue with people, even if their words were not to be understood in the way Mohammad understood them."
    [Ibn Hamid Al-Najdi, Al-Suhub Al-Wabila ala Dara'ih Al-Hanabila", 2/680.]
    • Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab(LA) claimed no one knew Tawhid or the meaning of Islam before him: “I will tell you about myself. By God, apart from Whom there is no god, I sought learning (talabtu l-‘ilm), and those who knew me believed that I had some; yet at that time I did not know the meaning of « there is no god but God », nor did I know the religion of Islam, before this blessing (khayr) which God vouchsafed to me. Likewise not one among my teachers knew it; if any of the scholars of the Arid claims that he knew the meaning of Islam, before this time, or maintains that any of his teachers knew it, he lies, fabricates, leads people astray, and falsely praises himself”(Cook mentions that he found it in Ibn Ghannam Rawdat al-Afkar, Bombay, 1337 (AH ), i, p.189.12. I did find this edition but I found the letter in two different editions Husayn Ibn Ghannam, Tarikh Najd, harrarahu wa haqqaqahu Nasir al-din al-Asad (Cairo: Matba'a al-Madani, 1961), p.341-42 and Husayn Ibn Ghannam, Tarikh Najd, harrarahu wa haqqaqahu Nasir al-din al-Asad, 2nd ed. (Beirut Dar al- Shuruq, 1985), p.309-10. It has also been included in the collection of letters by Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al- Wahhab:Muhammad Ibn ‘Abd al-Wahhab, Mu’allafat al-shaykh al-imam Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al- Wahhab 12 vols. (Riyad: Jami‘a al-Imam Muhammad ibn Sa‘ud al-islamiyya, 1981), vol.5, p.186-87.)
    • Margoliouth describes the Najdi creed as follows: “They regard the Deity as having bodily form, with face, hands, etc”(D. S. Margoliouth, ‘Wahhabism,’ in Encyclopaedia of religion and ethics, ed. James Hastings and John A. Selbie (Edinburgh : : T. & T. Clark, 1913), p.660.)
    • Some Meccan Wahhâbîs went to ’Abd al-’Azîz, the ruler in Dar’iyya, and told him that the representatives could not refute the Meccan ’ulamâ’ and that a declaration stating that their system of beliefs was hostility against Islam was sent to every country. ’Abd al-’Azîz ibn Muhammad ibn Sa’ûd and his followers bitterly resented the Ahl as-Sunna and attacked Mecca in 1215. The Amîr of Mecca, Sharîf Ghâlib ibn Musâ’id ibn Sa’îd Effendi, resisted them. Much blood was shed on both sides. Sharîf Ghâlib Effendi did not allow them to enter Mecca, but the Arab tribes around Mecca accepted Wahhâbism. Between the two ’îds of the same year, Sa’ûd sent an army to the town of Tâ’if. They oppressed and massacred Tâ’ifian Muslim women and children(For the details of this oppression and massacre which is unbearable to the heart, see Ahmad ibn Zainî Dahlân’s Khulâsat al-kalâm (reprint, Istanbul, 1395/1975) and Ayyûb Sabri Pasha’s Târîkh-i Wahhâbiyyân, Istanbul, 1296 A.H. (1879).)
    • Allama Ahmed bin Ali Basri states:“From amongst the things he (Abdul Wahab Najdi) mentioned one thing which he actually said is that, ‘If I get the opportunity, I will break down the Rauda of Rasoolullah .’” [Faslul Khitaab Fi Rad-di Dalalati Ibn Abdil Wahab]
    • The same Allama Basri also states that,
“Breaking down the blessed graves of the Shuhada amongst the Sahaba e Kiraam(RA) simply because of the domes, is a harsh evil, and deviancy of this Najdi (Abdul Wahab Najdi).” [Faslul Khitaab Fi Rad-di Dalalati Ibn Abdil Wahab]
May Allah Guide the Wahhabis back to the Orthodoxy of Ahlul Sunnah W’al Jammah, and May Allah Curse Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab al-Najdi

I request to implement this Hadīth by investigating both the sides, asking Allāh for His Help, and to come to the right conclusion to the best of your ability.
