- That's it! I guess I just have to face the fact the the 26t speed pinion is probably the highest one should go without running into problems.
Then again, since I upped the voltage using a larger capacity esc, I should be able to go up at least 1 tooth, right?
Got the 6s mamba monster 2 retro for mine…. They are limited run but have no safety’s… have it in my vendetta… just waiting on 17mm hexes for new tires!…. Keep trying brother! Don’t give up! New SUB! 🤜🤛

My vendetta still has stock esc and stock motor. I run CNHL 6200mah 100c 3s Lipo. I kept hitting LVC and going into limp mode, everytime I nailed it. I have the same esc in standby brand new 120amo but I also purchased a castle mmx8s w/1717 1650kv motor. Most say it won’t fit in the vendetta, but I have a plan to use a RPM esc cage, relocate the receiver box to the battery side in front of the battery. Then use a single carbon servo mount. This should give me enough room to install this monster setup. First I am still trying to squeeze the most speed possible out of the stock electronics. I have a 44T sour w/ slipper eliminated and a Arrma 32T pinion. All mod08 still. When I did this, I hit LVC even quicker! And the temps were getting up to 180 plus from a back n forth run. Now I learned, if you ease into the throttle very gradually and have the punch at level 2-3. It doesent hit that limp mode as long as the battery still is relatively full. Next step is 17 mm hex upgrade and bsr purple wheels and tires. Then installing the 120amo w/ same gears I have now, run it in 4s until I either kill the motor or I am convinced I squeezed all the speed out of it. Then it’s going ti get the full redo on 6s-8s. Will see! Everyone says the vendetta is one of the hardest to make go fast consistently, but I ain’t giving up.
I really appreciate this! I was just on the verge of breaking loyalty and ordering a CNHL HV brick after reading some comments on reddit but ended up ordering a Zeee 8000mah 130c HV 4s race battery in hopes of skirting the LVC issue. Next step was to find a better run location where I can let it wind out longer without having to squeeze so soon. I'm going to try punch 2 or 3 this time. And guess what? We're getting snow again right now! 😶 I will get 100 out of this thing. And you will get your PB and get that monster set up installed. Even if it kills us! 😂
I'm picking a vendetta up to add my 3s line up ,I truly think you will enjoy the big Rock 3s or 6s

Yes, NYC and trust me, the street is anything but smooth. I'm looking for a better spot.
Is that a new lipo? Maybe its cutting out due to it being older and draing to lvc when going to full throttle. I cap pack took all my problems away. 94 on 4s and only went to 104 on 6s . Ran out of road. Good vid brother. Dont give up. Sooo close .

Thanks man. The batteries I use are less than a month old and not too many cycles in. They hold a great charge and give me no problems. Once I geared down the lvc issues went away in the Infraction so imma try that with the Vendetta next. Stay tuned! 😉
Have you tried a battery pack other than zeee? People keep telling me my battery is why im hitting LVC so early, and Im also using zeee batteries on the spektrum 120 esc and hit LVC in under 10 minutes on my mojave 4s.
I haven't but I'm sure it's not the batteries. Took a battery alarm to it and it never went off when I was hitting LVC. HH said it is a known issue. Apparently LVC is set too high on those 100 & 120A ESCs and they're not user programmable like the 130+ ones.
@@bigbristv i definitely agree i just didnt have any other batteries to test peoples theory that its not the esc causing this. Im gonna get a different battery, and the new esc, and do a comparison of both esc with both batteries just to see what gives me the best runtime.
Try the battery alarm method maybe. You can choose the voltage from 2.7 to 3.8 to tell you exactly when LVC is triggered. I got 3 for like 9 bucks on Momazon.

Also, you have to check what the lvc voltage is set at mine was too high on my new 8s exb, had to turn it down to the correct level to get it to run past full throttle with current gearing
Yeah, you can't set the LVC on the 120a esc. Was trying for a hundo without having to put my 6s esc in there.
Where are you speed running at and whats the name of that gps and where did you buy it

I hit 114 mph so far with my vendetta, 6s ESC everything else is stock. You have to start waaaay WAY far back and you can’t get into full throttle until after you pass yourself

Your over volting the motor..which in turns is upping the amps the motor is pulling from the esc....your gonna keep experiencing the same problems until you upgrade the esc...I'd go with something at least 130 to 150 amps

More voltage pulls less amps all else being equal. You got it backwards.

@@bigbristv your only pulling more amps with the higher voltage if using a bigger pinion cause the motor doesn’t have as much torque to pull the gearing. Generally higher voltage setups pull less amps.
That stock motor loses speed after 27 , 28t pinion..its a tiny can 3660 uoure asking too much from it. Throwing more volts isnt going to do do anything but burn it out. .. also You should have went with the 150a spektrum. ..a lot of ebay sellers sell them for cheaper than a brand new 120a..theyre brand new off of brand new cars they buy and sell the parts separately. Going from 100a-120a is nothing

@jeeperlj1394 what I'm trying to do here is make the Vendetta go 100 using the stock stuff, on 4s with a 4s esc so low cost (since I already had that esc out of my Mojave). It would make sense to just throw the 6s esc I have in there but where's the challenge in that? 😉
Imo using a ripple killer cap pack should help keep it out of LVC
