Annual Day 2024 - ‘GLOBE-TROT’

School Annual Day, a day when the school community comes together and celebrates a year of learning, talents honed, skills acquired and lovely school experiences, all encapsulated into an evening of creativity creating lasting memories. The evening of 17th February 2024, the Annual Day, ‘GLOBE-TROT’, commenced with the UAE National Anthem, the Quran Recitation, and the warm welcome. The whole school year was well presented through the Annual Report, by the Principal, Mr. Shakkeer Hussian. The presence of our CEO, Ms. Sandra Blaskovic, Principals and the Senior Management Team gave a touch of elatedness to the gathering. Our dear Parents’ presence too gave an added touch of enthusiasm. The programme was an amalgamation of various hues befitting the theme ‘Gobe-Trot’, Around the World in One Day! It’s a small world after all! The thematic show of talent, imagination, creativity, and organization was the essence of the evening, participated by our students from the junior most to the seniormost. The theme-based dances both Eastern and Western World captivated the audience. To name the dances: Flag Dance of Around the World, a Sustainability Fashion Show, UAE Dance by all the different sections, Indian Song & Dance, both solo and group, Deo Deo Dance, Indian Semi Classical, dances from the different states of India, Bangladeshi Dance, creative Sri Lankan Folk Dance, Pakistani Dance, Afghanistan Dance, Chinese Dance, Pop Dance, Party in USA & Western Song, Modern Free Style Dance, Flamenco Dance and the Egyptian Dance. With fervor and exuberance, the students in jubilant spirits showcased their talents and skills. The costumes added vibrancy to the occasion giving special effect to the synchronized dance movement. Each item was truly mesmerizing, making it an astounding visual treat for the audience. The curtain fell on the awesome evening, with words of gratitude.
