I have not been in politics for 50 years like Corbyn, but I realised that. Would the Standard like to interview me for their next shocking insight?
The tories lost because of their handling of NHS etc, not because of some faraway land where we have no business
Ukraine funding didn't help.
@@kitcat4512 There is overwhelming majority support in the UK for Ukraine aid
The Tories massively increased funding of the NHS.
@@proselytizingorthodoxpente8304nonsense..I bet if we had a referendum most would vote against giving money to Ukraine have you any idea how much money is in Zelensky off shore accounts reported in the media money from the start if the conflict let me enlighten you 1.5 billion in cayman Island belize and Cyprus Bank account...
@@nowgrownup The majority support sending aid to Ukraine. Russia is not popular. Putin and his war propaganda is even less popular.
Who cares this is Britain not the Middle East 😴😴😴😴😴😴
When our tax is going to weapons manufacturing and not our veterans and homeless then I absolutely care
Unfortunately a lot of Muslims did, which shows that things most of us don't consider to be relevant in an English election actually are.
@@slightlyconfused876if there that worried about the middle east they can leave are help them pack
@@TC8787-yq7og how much of your tax is going into manufacturing war? give me a figure.
Exactly. Who has a big say in our politics?
Divisive Corbyn. Is Gaza part of the UK no.
For a lot of Muslims it apparently is. Birmingham constituencies with massive Labour majorities had them slashed, all because Starmer didn't choose his words carefully enough.
@@slightlyconfused876well they can move there then stop bringing that 💩 to this country
But Israel is apparently, given how the UK bows down and unconditionally supports them in their war crimes
@@John-ce2io it what why terrorist lover 🇬🇧
it is not about gaza being part of the UK. but the fact that UK tax payers hard earned money is sent to israel to bomb women and children. the UK and US have a big part to play in this war. and they need to stop
Basically saying labour lost votes because anti semites got offended.
Go away.
Who are you trying to fool 😂
people woke up there is no anti semite, people are against who call themselves Jewish and created the Zionists who have nothing to do with that land at all. They should allow DNA testing. why are they refusing because they know the answer!!! Long live freedom.
The conflict is terrible, and what Israel is doing is awful too. However, this was an election on how to govern the UK - not how the government should/not intervene in foreign conflicts. Yet i'm sure Labour are crying in their 412 majority over this.
They did lose a lot of votes (obviously doesn’t really matter) but they would’ve lost votes either way so it’s kind of redundant to say🤷♂️
ISRAEL defending itself you forgot who started the slaughter of innocent people and babies it was Hammas in October 2023 and the palastine people were cheering in the streets so its ok to slaughter in Israel 🇮🇱 but not OK to slaughter in palastine..One sided biased view you have ..Every life is precious not only no matter what race or color or sexuality 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Godonstilts those majorities are going to start evaporating, if the new government continues with two tier policing. People who support Israel have the same right to March. We shouldn't put up with thugs glorifying murder and harassing anyone on the streets, in the UK.
They only got 20% of the 40+ million registered voters. 80% didn’t want liebour…such a democratic country we live in!
@@Ben-ef4gf Ah yes, the old model the statistics in different ways to suit your narrative. Two can play that game:
2019: Conservatives had 56% of the seats, but only 20% of country voted for them - 80% did not want the Tories!
2016: Brexit - a mere 24% of the population voted to leave, the rest did not want to leave!
2015 : Tories had 36% of the votes, but 51% of the seats, yet only 25% of the voting population voted for them, how undemocratic!!?!
Am I doing this right? Or do you not understand democracy, or [as i suspect] are you just being disingenous as a bad faith actor.
Obviously FPTP is broken, but then that has served the Tories very well for the last 100 years. So no wonder they never changed it.
Or maybe... just maybe, if people are engaged in politics then they are allowed an opinion, and those who can't be or don't bother to vote aren't allowed a voice in this particular election? In which case, Labour got more votes than anyone else, so they get to be in charge for the next five years.
Don't like the system? Go and campaign for change, and see how many people will follow you.
This type of man is why I despise labour so much.
What I don't get it looking at state of Pakistan, why do these people want to make England into one as well

I would have supported Corbyn right up until Oct 7th. I never believed he was anti-semitic until he opened his big mouth on Oct 8th. Absolute poison.
He's not in the Labour Party, he was thrown out.
Jeremy Corbyn isn't the humanitarian he tries to push!
Just another privately educated conman trying to be "one of the people"
Oct 7th 2023 Jeremy ?, that date will remain in decent people's memory long after you have gone.
And before or after October the 7th isn't
You have just highlighted the gap in his selective memory of events.

Loads of people are fed up with the Gaza nonsense and would appreciate it if the Muslims involved either went home or stayed quiet.
You wouldn't hear it from this comment section, but the British public are more sympathetic towards palestine than they are Israel. It's bizare how much support they continue to get from the government.

Dear Mr Corbyn, you’re a good orator, but don’t waste your time on this.

You won’t be able to stop the growth of the religion, people can control themselves and choose for themselves. Approximately 1.9 billion people are Muslims...good luck mate

He is really, words fail me! Gaza , much as I feel for some of the people is surely their problem to sort out. They know what hamas is and allow it. Tunnels under hospitals schools etc to allow their terrible work. There was no-one all those hrs ago in this country to fight for the freedoms slowly being eroded away in the country , our own people fought for them.
Why do they need western world? Ask yourself as they have 57 Muslims nations not supporting one bit
Surely you’re not that ignorant Patricia 😂 you believe EVERYTHING on the news ? Even the “ tunnels” that “khamas” are hiding in hospitals 😂😂my golly
You’re being dense despite 9 months of television and analysis.
Israel lied to the west about Oct 7th. Lied. Our leader gave them a blank cheque on the basis of a lie.
Bottom line is 100,000 people are dead for no reason. Our leader and all the leaders didn’t have the guts to say ‘hold on, let’s establish facts’.
Yes because we should totally be more concerned with what's going on in Gaza than in this country.
Part of how our country’s economy is being wasted is taxpayer money funding Israel. If that stopped there’d probably be a lot more money to go around.
What happens there impacts this country.
Gaza should not be the issue that determines voting behaviour in this country - many will be concerned about this development and it’s a gift for Farage to peddle his narrative.
Farage does not peddle anything he loves the UK and he is gaining momentum wait till the next election we know who will be Prime minister and it won't be Starmer and his band of clown 😂😂😂
It's not purely a 'narrative' if it is true.
We now have sitting MPs who were elected largely on an Islamic issue and voted for by people who realise they no longer need the Labour Party. There will be a UK Islamic party before long. This should worry you.
@@SuperCholdi Ok I made the point originally.
We also have a Protest Group masquerading as a Political Party that is making it up as it goes along - these are the same charlatans who conned the electorate over Brexit. That it blamed it’s vetting company for not exposing it’s neo nazi candidates should worry you.
Jeremy has nothing to do with Gaza its to do with indigenous people been disrespected because they are not ethnic but white
He's not wrong. He is also the type of 'protest polician' that I detest, those that focus on fault-lines and use them to justify the unacceptable.
Why do we let Gaza issues interfere with our own politics? We’re in the UK, Gaza is no where near us.
Are you playing dense?
We practically are the source of the issue now going on for 75 years.
@@nauxsiAnd neither Israel or palestine have been able to fix their own problems in that tiny 75 year window.
Horrible attitude of this person
So happy for Corbyn. True leader. Britain needs politicians like him 🏴
But the whole country sent a resounding NO to him as PM.
shock horror! people were actually arrested. cops must have been bored that day.
Yes,Jeremy Corbyn is right
He’s right, unfortunately. Muslim votes were cast for George Galloway’s party - 5,000 here in Peterborough. Those were votes that would probably have gone to Labour - Peterborough has a mostly “poor” Muslim population. These “one issue” parties are a pain, but one that we have, unfortunately, to bear.
Someone has to speak up when the mainstream media ignores the protests against genocide of millions
They knew Labour were going to win. So they did a protest vote.
But fancy being told your vote is a waste.
Britain should not be involved in Ukraine or Gaza - neither situations are anything to do with Britain, we’ve troubles of our own which need urgent attention!
Britain has nothing to do with the situation in Gaza? You might want to read a history of the region.
@@ultracrep8572 I’m well aware of the history - however, we should be staying out of these conflicts!

Jeremy Corbyn wants to become the president of Islamic republican of Britain
Ha he is raging starmer did what he couldn't 😂😂😂😂
He’s right though.
Thanks Captain Obvious - now how about a bit of self reflection on why you didn't win a general election
We know why he didn’t win.
The whole establishment and those linked to them within Labour Party worked to make sure he doesn’t win. Because we are bought by corporates. We’re not a democracy anywhere. It’s just a charade.
Free palestain
You mean from the wonderful Jewish community?
The logic that the Labour vote was lower than in 2017 and 2019 is a flawed logic. Corbyn scored more votes in already Labour constituence. But Starmer tactically and strategically focused his campaign on marginal seats and tory seats. I agree that Corbyn would have got more votes in already labours seats, but would marginal and tory safe seats felt comfortable to vote Corbyn, I don't think so.
Votes need to be scattered around all over the country, rather than concentrated in few areas.
“Starmer tactically and strategically focused his campaign on marginal seats”
I keep hearing this but the data doesn’t back it up. Starmer won, not by getting more votes in marginal seats but by the Tories losing votes to reform. Look at the top ten most marginal seats Labour were targeting. They won 9 of them, but only in 3 of them did they actually gain votes. In the other 6 they actually lost votes, but the Tories lost more.
No they didn’t ,😂😂😂
This is england
Votes weren't "lost". He just can't figure out where they went.
Galloway list his seat, I think
Anyone could have told him that.
The usual expected comments on here.

SO WHAT IF LABOUR LOST ISLAMIST VOTES. WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG WITH HIM AND THOSE WHO AGREE WITH HIM ??
It was Islamist votes. Lots of people voted reform or independents because Labour Party have moved away from their root.
Israel
Gaza ceasefire issue is not a Muslims issue at all. It’s now been an humanity matter. Western blind eyes on it harts peoples and obviously Muslims. But It’s affecting all mainstream political institutions. Millions protestors on street are not only Muslims but from all corners of the society.
Shouldn't start a war then
i would be sure to tell hamas to stop firing rockets and taking hostages , otherwise rinse and repeat , little terrorists hide behind their own kids
wheres your outrage over sudan?
So why aren't they protesting outside the Iranian embassy?
They didn’t start a war.
Wars are between standing armies.
And yet they have a vast majority. Maybe, being behest to social and religious groups should be avoided. Also, the Muslim vote amongst tories and Reform stood up quite well which is rather odd...
