One thing that I find amazing about Dan Harmon, is that it looks like he's always writing good shit, even when he is just talking. The Grumps' comedy is very reactive to the situations they're in and the stories they tell (Which makes sense when you improv in this way, right.). But Harmon, is genuinely doing full set-ups + punchline jokes IN THE MOMENT. The whole "put youtube people in the show -- well that's the death of this project -- who told you to do that? -- Well, it was youtube" joke. He seems like he has a very interesting mind. I think he just does the babbling stutter thing because his physical form is to slow for his brain. Mad man.
I love Dan Harmon's wisdom he shares. 52:34 is a good example.

This is a really good channel to watch while doing homework, don't have to worry about missing the games plot
Dan talking about how Back to the Future being made in the 80s but nailing 80's nostalgia makes me wonder how much of the stuff in back to the future would still be considered 80s nostalgia if it didn't exist. Like how much did it boost the popularity of already popular stuff that it would have that lasting effect? I wasn't alive in the 80s so I have no idea, but it made me think.
The only way to make me want a Justin Roiland episode any more than I already did was to do a Dan Harmon episode. You had to do it.

Justin was in to record a separate session earlier in the day. Once Dan found out about it, he purposely kicked the harddrive himself this time.
They way they said it makes me think that it was a bad episode. Justin Roiland drinks a lot to cope with anxiety and I can imagine in a format like this, he may have spiralled into a wreck.

Dan Harmon actually did make an appearance in Community, at the end of the incest episode. He also did a voice over in the final episode
And he was animated into the GI Joe episode, dubbed over Dr. Garrett in the asylum, during Pillows and Blankets got drawn as the guy who was looking for the fountain that cured syphilis. There's probably others but I can't recall
I've only seen bits of this episode in "best of" videos, and they always made me laugh, and I finally looked up and watched the episode and I'm so glad I did.

It's a joke from an older Game Grumps episode. An episode of their Sonic Boom playthrough, if I recall correctly, where about halfway through the episode, Dan becomes both Grump and Not so Grump and thus, the intro gets remade to include only Dan. I was making a callback to that particular moment.
