- Yup. I'm pretty minimalist when it comes to makeup. I have two eyeshadow pallets and I only keep what I use. BUT, here are my favorite tips and tricks to clean and organize my space to have my vanity be an oasis in our bedroom! Speed clean with me! Organize my makeup with me, clean organizing containers (yup, even the fabric ones), and clean your brushes fast. Using all Dollar Tree and Dollar Store products. I LOVE budget organization and natural cleaning!

🍋DIY Wood Cleaner:
1 3/4 cup water
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 tsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. essential oil (I like lemon amzn.to/2vF6w34 )
Mix into a spray bottle. Last 8-12 months.

Love the facewash tip, lifechanging! 😱
What I do once every 2 months is use rubbing alcohol to clean my makeup. All you do is put a drop on each eyeshadow and let it dry. It doesn't change the formula and it sanitizes it perfectly. It works with powder too. Thought I'd share :)

Beautifully simple area to get ready and start the day. Well thought out area all concealed and away when not in use (bonus too as it's safer and handy with little ones around). Perfect! Great idea having the bouncer and baby all sorted too. It's lovely sharing your time with your baby. He gets to watch mummy get ready which is lovely 😊 and mummy knows he is safe and happy. ❤️
Tip:When you wash your makeup brushs hang them upside-down so that the water doesn't leak down and loosen the glue

I love the idea of having a vanity...someday we'll have room! 😊 Toothbrushes are absolutely the best for cleaning those small spots and corners!
Waaay back in highschool, I worked part-time as a chambermaid for a major hotel chain. We cleaned all the mirrors in the rooms with water and a rag. Works beautifully!

You did it again, girl! I feel like I see the same stuff over and over on a lot these videos which leaves me feeling like I waste countless precious moments watching the same tips over and over. This video (and most of your videos btw) is so good and allows me to use super inexpensive things that I have or can get for the low. Also, your tips usually don't require massive amounts of time, but instead, fit nicely into what I am already doing...I just have to tweak it a little and BANG, more efficient. Whoop-whoop! Thanks, girl! All that and a bag of chips = you and your sweet family.

I've never really been to a dollar store before, but I'm _definitely_ going there more often.
I clean like 3 times a year, I also use the Vinegar and at times the Alcohol great products.. great tips love your ideas...

We are in the process of building our new home and I'm getting a lot of inspiration from your videos. This one in particular is inspiring me to turn my mother's old sewing table into a vanity for my bedroom. I kept it after she passed away in 2007 and have been using it as a nightstand. I will get my husband to build a "box" inside where the hole is for the sewing machine used to be. Then I can go to DT for containers!! Thanks!!

To avoid makeup slippage, you can place tissue paper in the inserts. During cleanup just remove & replace.

Ever since you made that video using the diy oven glove brush cleaner I use it all the time. I also got one to use with my cloth diapers since I used pocket diapers 😁 love your tips and how easy they are to incorporate into my routines

How refreshing to see a normal looking makeup collection on a YT channel! I'm bothered by the excess hoarding that so many of the YT people seem to have with makeup. I'm still using the DIY pledge recipe that you posted about four years ago! It does such a fantastic job and I love that it's chemical free. The Wet and Wild brushes are great! I also like the Daylogic brushes from Rite Aid (it's a store brand.) They're a few dollars more, but really good quality. I still store my make-up in one dresser drawer - I've done this for years! I also store my make-up that I'm currently using in a small DT basket, so I can take it into the bathroom to get ready. I have all of my blush, bronzer, eye shadow, etc. along with the brushes in there.

Kathryn I use DT make-up brushes all the time and love them I even get my make-up sponges there also! My husband thins I am obsessed with the DT and yes maybe I am!!! have a great day ! Owen was so cute at the end! : - )

orange oil or lemon oil works really well with that same mixture for scent if you like it. orange really seems to make the wood shiny. I have used baby shampoo in a pinch to clean organizers like that too. works good.
