- Firearms are tools. I get it. They’re made (if of good quality) to work through less than favorable conditions. But if I’m going to trust my life, or my family to this tool, why wouldn’t I keep it set up for success?

I thank God I learned my lesson at the range and not in a life or death situation.
Make sure to change that trigger reset spring. Never know when it will break. Manual says every 2k rounds. Crazy!
4K rounds and more through multiple P365’s. Never been an issue. And I attribute that to a quality firearm that is well maintained.
@MTFT_Freedom In the manual it says change at 2k rounds. Sending it in . If you do yourself it voids warranty. That's not alot of confidence from sig at all about there quality.
@MTFT_Freedom If you don't shoot alot the p365 is fine. I shoot 1000 rds a month. My 2 sigs the reset spring broke at 3500 and other at 5000. I can't have my gun down twice a year so I can send it in for repair. It's not me, it's sig recommendations. I love the gun otherwise. But if you really train alot, it puts you in a rough spot.
@@cnclife2739 again, thousands of rounds a year.... multiple p365's, no issues regarding reset spring. Not arguing with what the manual says, simply stating that I personally have put thousands of rounds through these guns. And yes, we shoot them every month, including in competition settings, classes, and training events.
@MTFT_Freedom well good luck. Every person with a p365 I know that runs there guns Over 5k rounds have broken reset springs. It's a weakness and sig admits it. Like I said, I like the gun. The reset spring has been an issue. Buy you some extras, just in casr.
I sometimes get lube on the grip making it slick. Do you have a good way to remove that lube? Wiping it off with a towel does not get it all off.
Rubbing alcohol. Safe on polymer, metal, and gun finish

I’ve seen plenty of Glocks malfunction enough to come to the conclusion that not even Glocks are immune to malfunctions caused by not maintaining

Well, from what I have seen with Hwansik Kim, the PDP is even better. My PDP actually seems to prefer being dirty...
Glocks should be cleaned, my friend actually lost a bet on how long he could run his Glock without cleaning it.
@MTFT_Freedom The funny thing is, this guy is commenting about Glock when the PDP is actually quite reliable. When I was first testing my new slide, it easily went through the 700rd testing period without cleaning (just a bit of lube after I got home each trip). I only cleaned it after because I was planning to put it back into service as my carry gun, and it was disgusting. A few months later, it's now at 1600-1700 (I've let other people shoot it) and it gets cleaned regularly, but is completely flawless besides one malfunction that I induced.
I should also not, that having a dirty carry gun is just kinda gross...
@MTFT_Freedom when the PDP has the same amount of rounds put through them like Glocks then I will give it to the PDP.
