Not quite. Song was written in Los Angeles in 1954 by Ralph Mooney ( the great pedal steel man) and Charlie Seals. Ralph was playing in Wynn Stewart’s band and Wynn sang the demo record which was cut at a tiny studio in Pasadena, CA where there used to be a country radio station.
Nope. Written by Ralph Mooney and Charlie Seals in L.A.back in 1954. Ralph was playing pedal steel for Wynn Stewart who make the demo acetate for showing the song.
@@jameshepburn4631 I don't care what Google says, it's wrong. They can say all they want that Mooney wrote the song and that is wrong. I have the 45 rpm record that shows Willie Nelson wrote the song just as Ring of fire was written by June Carter and Merle Kilgore and was performed by Johnny Cash
Bringing back good country music. One of the best live bands I done witnessed.
Great performance...loved Chuck Mead's vocal.
For me this is their best line up ..unbelievable band .

@@jameshepburn4631 You are wrong. Willie Nelson wrote that song. Look it up
@@jameshughes1385 With your nonexistent knowledge of country music you’re making a fool out of yourself.
@@jameshepburn4631 Look dumbass I know way more about County music than you do.
Crazy, crazy arms, and others were written by Willie Nelson
