They look at a child, who is still learning right from wrong and imagine someone they can teach and bully them to do whatever they want. We teach this to children when he use corporal punishment to get them to do what we want them do. So perps learn this as children. Many are abused children who never told the truth. Many are adults angry at other adults for not giving them what they want so they justify using children to get it because they cannot easily fight back and abusing them? Gives them so much power. They are ruining a child's future. They feel protected because exposing their abuse? Is as much a threat to the child as it is for them. It gives them an edge. Which is why their crimes need to be prosecuted severely.

It isn't about healthy adult attraction, it is about power and control and it is a sickness. People need to watch how all people interact with their kids. This breaks my heart, I am glad her parents believe her.
Girls are taught to be " nice" and to take care of others. Profiles need to be separated from other people, many are shown to have enlarged frontal context in their brains, they have a really hard time with impulse control, so if he sees another little girl he "likes in that way" it is likely to happen again and again and again.

@@frankmyers2024 Thank you, Frank. I work with children now too. I was leery of doing this because of the myth that all children who have been abused become abusers. No, many of us become crusaders. A wise teacher taught me well. "If good people do not work in child care, only the bad people will." Though without a legal system that works for children and the parents who do step-up? You must know, it multiples our own pain.
So many professions I had to avoid that I would have been very good at but I know my limitations because of this rage that will always be inside of me. It is fueled by a society that coddles pedophiles.

@Snowrabian Lebanonprincess How can you write something like this? You are saying people do not fear God? Understandable when the Gods do nothing to protect children from this kind of harm. Yeah, God will smite thee. Right. When that starts happening then maybe people will fear these Gods? From the very beginning of the Bible, are reports of crimes against children. Even by Jewish people that supposedly was okay with their God? The Bible has brought down serious punishments to the Jewish people but their ancestors did nothing different then most of ours in ancient history. Just sadly a book about Jewish history became the tool so many use to try to teach from. For some? It is a warning. For others? It is admission that so much evil has been taking place forever and going unpunished. By the Gods and most of all by all of us who refuse to make our legal system accountable for crimes against children. For every family that paid huge legal fees to protect their criminal family members against their victims.

If a man or woman in authority is forceful or in any way I perceive them to be threatening I start shaking, sobbing and it doesn't stop for sometimes hours. I hate it and you can't tell an employer " sorry I was raped and drowned as a child sorry I'm acting like a lunatic. also if someone is doing something to hurt or make another person upset I will move mountains to rectify the situation, usually at the expense of my job! We went to court and I'll never forget sitting on that stand so scared seeing his face thinking he could still hurt me. The jury sentenced him to 10 years in prison but the out of county judge deferred it to 10 years probation with lifetime registration of a sex offender. I lost that entire side of my 'family' because of it. Years later as an adult I had my daughter at an easter egg hunt at school and my aunt came up to me crying saying he confessed to molesting over 30 children and quote said 'it's ok though because he's in church and treatment now.' I couldn't believe they were still defending him. I walked away from her in complete disgust never to look back.

Either way I feel sorry for this girl but before knowing more than what this video shares I’m keeping an open mind to the firefighters guilt or innocence. He was given a decision to accept a plea deal without admitting guilt and have drastically reduced sentencing and no sexual registry or face the a jury and possibly spend the rest of his life in prison. This could be a lot more complicated than it appears.

@Brad Moore No Brad, that is the lie that is going around. It is about stopping the abuse. If we do not call out rapists, they keep raping. Do you want your kids raped? Your family? If it wouldn't make you mad that a victim didn't speak out if you were a victim, do not think because you are male that you can't be victim. Lots of guys can tell you, it is more luck then being careful. Rapist pick victims, victims do not pick rapists.
Victims sue rapist because our legal system won't keep them off of our streets. Victims cannot get their cases presented in a court of law. It is not a right but a decision made by someone who doesn't want to do the work needed to prosecute rapists. Because too many people will spend too much money to protect rapists while punishing their victims. We are turning the tables. I hope you can catch up.
Some do lie but most do not. Especially child victims. It isn't like her uncle has so much money? Who deserves to rape a child and not be punished for it? Who?
A lot of guys are taught you have privilege's. No, you really don't. You don't get to choose who has to have sex with you. You can hope to get permission but you don't get to tell people what they have to do for you if they don't want to. If you go after children who you know are easily afraid of you for sex? You need to take a room in a cage, where we keep animals that are a danger to society.

ummm... it is rare but not that rare to block out details of being abused because during the act, you must zone out your mind, so you won't feel anything. It takes a tremendous amount of concentration to do this. For younger children it is harder to remember details for some. I suffered some blocks but I was older, so I knew how important it was to remember as much as I could. But I couldn't give exact dates. Just time periods because you have to still survive if you want revenge. I blocked for fifteen years details where I failed myself by not acting as I knew I should out of fear of retribution or bringing more harm to my brothers. I could only remember parts that would play in my mind like a broken projector. Over, and over again and then the memories would cut off suddenly. It took years of therapy to finally remember why my mind wouldn't let them go.

I buried the memories for a long time until I was forced to deal with them. It was quite traumatic. I got through with prayers and God's help. To this day I don't understand why so many pesos seemed attracted to me. I wouldn't consider myself a cute child,so my conclusion is that these sick people are everywhere and parents need to be less trusting of others where their children are concerned. I certainly don't.
