- in this video {514} Inverter Welding Machine Repair Course / How To Repair #Inverter IGBT #Welding / welder #Machine / Input Rectifier Circuit Explained & Troubleshooting. i discussed the circuit diagram and how to repair mma-200 or mma200 mma250, mma160 and troubleshoot inverter IGBT based welding maching. this china MMA-200T Inverter IGBT Welder Machine - Circuit Explained & Troubleshooting Part -1, is single phase 220 VAC operated. it have a bridge rectifier which rectifies the main ac voltage into dc voltage, which are connected to pair of dc capacitors through a relay contacts and in parallel 110 ohms ntc resistor. this nts protects from inrush current and upon receiving relay drive signal it switches the rectified voltage to capacitors so, the ntc is bypassed to get full current to drive igbt.

بعدما قمت بنزع الترانستورات اشتغل الجهاز والنبضات موجودة على جميع البوابات ،ولكن المصباح الاصفر يشتغل والمقاومة المتغيرة لا تغيير قيمة التيار المطبوعة على الشاشة ،ممكن إحتمال لمشكلة معينة؟

Thanks you, great video, im french and with your video serie. I found my broken part in me 3in1 igbt mma,cut,tig pulse welder. 1x d4204. (Dual schortydiode) broken before fatal fail. Secondary is a ring on output wire line i should provide current flow data to maincircuit controlboard. Highvoltage leak. I scealled it with solderiron 🤣 and done but before scealing. I juste remove ring out of wire, and turn welder on if no more leaking sounds present ....KABOUM home breaker overload load(turnoff). No smoke or what ever but welder play dead state 🤣.... And i'm here now. I troubleshoot my error. Probably in primary power supply. No dc, and ac dont reach at secondary rectifier pin (ac1-2) i should of i burn the "...dual input voltage controler" ptc give my right resist but we need reverify with voltage. And i will trying to manualy closing relay if rectifier will output dc... (( Power supply board completly removed, and not connected to welder. To prevent more damage himselft))
But technicaly, i have found 2broken part and repair my 2022 cut,tig,welder 3in1 with your video. Thanks you, and propably up score to 3repair done in couple hours 🤦♂️😆😅🤣🤣🤣
(Plasmargon 520tscp buy at 50% 🤔 of price) pilot arc, tig pulse, with great pakaging quality item (cut80 cutter torch, big mma rod holder, big tig foot pedal and normal cheap wire((all wire replaced when unboxing input,grounds,trigger swicht,pilit arc..)),and cheap grounds clamp....is chiness ,need to work for suitable performance ....after 1/2clean cut whith 30psi at same cutspeed of industrial "portable"cutter (5000$) we have at job. Before ....broken in stanby cooldown break after finishing many rod welding 🤣🤣

Thanks for the video. I think it will help me troubleshoot my welder. My welder does the following: It gets 120VAC and it powers up fine, the fan powers up, the display powers up but then when I strike an arc, it goes dead and tries to restart. I observed the following readings: Before the PTC, I get 120VAC. After the PTC/Relay inrush current circuit, I get anywhere from 50VAC to 10VAC, its almost as if the PTC is limiting current for some reason even though there no load now.
Would you agree its the PTC?

Hello friend, what value of NTC thermistor for welding inverter is used?
In a 200a welder fan and display are working but no output voltage the visual control say that there's no bunout circuit or resistor.

Sir I need your help I have an inverter welding machine with no output voltage I have checked the circute board I found no smps output 25 v then I discoverd an smd component in the control board its code is Y2 which supplys vcc of ic uc3845 althouh its not giving fault reading when checked by multimeter but the it dose not supply the voltage to the vcc pin when I removed this component and made short circut istead the machine worked properly here is the question I looked in google for Y2 smd code it shows tow types the first is zener diod bzx84c12 the second is pnp transistor ss8550 I do not know which one is to replace .

for smd code,we must take care for the package, each package code have its specified dimensions. so we must confirm the measurements to match the exact package style. then we can get the exact data for smd component
in Y2 case
it may be 12v zener to provide regulated voltage to the IC
and in some machines it may be a transistor, to disconnect the supply of the IC to protect from any expected damage
first try to use a zener diode.

in smart welding machines there are error codes
each number of beeps will indicate a specific fault
please check the user manual for the machine to decode the error code
Circuit diagrams and block diagrams should flow from left to right. Yours is backwards.
