Also, apparently Dragon's Breath is supposed to be nasty on the R9-0 and it behaves similarly to the VLK. I guess I just didn't realize its potential when I was playing.
Hey Handler. What's the logic fo using the stim shot at random times? Like specifically at the beginning of matches or before you anticipate getting into a gunfight? Just trying to learn here, thanks!
Jon Steiner it refills your tactical sprint (sprinting faster and holding your gun up in the air) even while still sprinting, so its basically just to get places faster
Jon Steiner stim shot resets tac sprint, so it makes him tac sprint a bit longer. If you see him use it other times in the match with full health, it is either a mistanke, or he does it because he thinks a grenade or something will hit him.

I despise how EOD basically makes the dragons breath weaker than regular buck shot, then again I think I'm in the only boat who thinks flame damage should not be countered by eod so riot shielders wouldn't have to hard-core camp.

Elias it’s not too insane, it features unique barrels that give it an 1000rpm at the cost of damage, range and recoil control. They’re fun but pretty weird
I was doing the same thing. I was hyped for the rounds, but I think the challenge is glitched. Played Shipment, got 15 sliding kills and didn’t get the ammunition

The Damage Range is decreased a little bit with the dragons breath shells, and yeah, you have to wait for the burn in some cases. Plus, EOD works directly against them, so personally, I'll stick with the regular shells or slugs.

Man I dunno why people complain about shotguns so much. You deserve to get one-shotted when you step into their short effective range. While we're at it,, the 725 prepatch was a bit much but its fine now too. It's a goddamn two shot breach loading sporting shotgun, the likes of which is used for skeetshooting. It deserves to have monstrous range for giving up ammo capacity and having frequent reloads. You can't just rush and drop a full room of dudes with it unless they're terrible, unlike what would be more realistic with the R9 or 680, but would still be difficult. Not aimed at you Handler, just gets annoying that people always bitch about shotguns being good at the one thing they're supposed to be good at

I’ve been thinking for a long time that they should add Flechette rounds to the shotguns, not too sure how they’d fit into the loop but an interesting concept nonetheless. 🤔
They would be used for wallbangs and penetration shots. I could imagine taking flechettes solely to get a one tap through a wall with the Model 680.

Fun fact: the r9-0 has had incendiary rounds in the campaign since launch a guy drops it in the area where you fight the juggernaut. Also the m680 has a Colossus suppressor that you can find off a guy in the farthest back house in the going dark mission where price gives you cover and it also has not been released to multiplayer yet.

Dragon's breath trades immediate damage for consistency. You can hit less pellets and still get a one shot kill at further ranges.

Handler about what you were saying about the dragons breath I did some research and it turns out it just makes the gun straight better as long as your using the right attachments, of course there’s a chance I could be wrong but I’ve looked it up and tested it myself

Handler at longer ranges you don’t need to wait for the burn time the damage is still their it’s added in at the end of the shot the reason you might have to wait for it sometimes is because maybe not all of the bellets have landed meaning the full damage isn’t there but in most cases the fire will try to mop them up (atleast from what I have seen while using it this is how it functions on the model can’t say for the r-90)

I use the dragons breath rounds for the model, not because of the effectiveness, it's just because I like the effect of the rounds, it's like a unlockable explosive tracer round.
you want to use the 6 round mags on the pump shotgun it makes a really big difference and kills really fast just hard to unlock if you don't have multiplayer

It literally has extended one shot kill range without counting the burn. As if it was pre patched version of the gun. It's a one shot at 8 meters or something without burn, and with it it's like 10 meters

R90 DB rounds work like VLK. It extends 1shot kill out to pre nerf distances and makes 2 shot even farther. The burn clenches kills from distance even if you miss some pellets. M680 is still the only shotty better off with buckshot vs DB
