    Putting stamps on the grid to line them up is great! It seems so simple but it never occurred to me. Those are the little handy tips that are the best.

    The biggest problem I have with glitter is it gets everywhere. Simply dumping it onto glue doesn't solve that paltry dilemma. It still flakes off and becomes part of your world. This is why I go with glitter glue in the first place. Puts the glitter where I want and keeps it there. As a school custodian I've learned to hate loose glitter with a passion, so I'll admit some bias, lol.

    Not sure why there wasn't a way to reply to Katie Love's comment, so here's the reply in a new comment: The orthodontist wax is much sticker. Some people also use bees wax. thing is, it picks up the gems but it's too sticky to release them and it leaves a residue on the crystals. Embellie Gellie is the perfect tackiness to pick up the items and also release them instantly--and leaves no residue.

    Amy did you make your perfect pouch. I have never seen that kind. Made mine with muslin and powder.. hope you are doing fine and staying safe. Always. Lin

      Yes, We've been making them since 2004. These do not contain powder which is both irritating and has been linked to cancer and king problems. (They also do not contain cornstarch as many other do.) They are constructed with a shield to keep it neat and tidy both on your hands and work surface. Other bags are only to stop static of embossing powders; our pouch does that, too, (and very neatly), it has a drying agent so printing on vellum and coated papers is perfect, and it stops bleeding and smearing of inks on fabric, handmade papers, cork, etc. There are so many things this pouch does, but it's good you've found an alternative that works for you:) Be well!!!!

    Thank you so very much for teaching me how-to use and apply glitter with Best Glue Ever. I love Stickles, too. But it does take a great deal of time to dry. Now, thanks to you, I have an alternative method. Thank you, again.

    When you were comparing the stickles vs. the best glue ever w/glitter - why didn't you just heat it with the heat gun - stickles can be dried with the gun - I do it all the time...just curious

    • @scraperfect
      @scraperfect  Před 9 lety +1

      For one thing I stopped using Stickles. Too expensive to have all the colors I want. With the Best Glue Ever™, I can have a TON of different glitters and never worry about stocking the colors I need, having it dry up or clog, or taking too long to dry. PLUS, when I did try to dry with a gun, it bubbled up and got odd. Good that it works for you--always nice to have several ways to accomplish the same thing.

    I wish I could find the best glue ever, but I’m in the Uk, so if anyone over here knows where I can get it, please let me know, thanks.

      Hi Ann- I feel for you. ScraPerfect does ship overseas. (You get US prices but the USPS shipping rates are not cheap.) You can create an order and then see the s/h before going through with it.We have many other VERY unique and equally magical products which could make the cost of shipping more worth it...or maybe go in with a friend or two?
      IF you know of a local independent craft store (rubber stamp, scrapbook, papers...) near you, ask them to bring it in. They can order direct from ScraPerfect, or work with our distributors.
      I don't know the exchange rate, but AMAZON UK has it for 8 pounds and free ship with 20 pound minimum, and eBay sellers have it for under 10 pounds free shipping.

      ScraPerfect hi, I did go on and it worked out what I wanted to order was the same price as the shipping, so for the few bits I wanted, would have cost me almost £50, which is a bit much for me lol. Unfortunately we have just moved 150 miles away from where we lived, now right out in the countryside and I don’t know anyone. I order online as I’m disabled and can’t get out much. Thanks so much for your help, I’ll go look on Amazon and eBay. Huggles xxxAnnxxx

      Contact me through the website with what you want to order and qty, and I'll see if we can do something to help with the shipping. (AMY R.)

      Same here Ann, I live in the UK & the shipping is way too expensive to justify buying the product. from America I'll stick with (no pun intended!) my Anita's tacky glue in the smallest bottle size that's best for delicate use. which I buy for under £2 from the Range :) x

      I bought the glue but only used it a few times and it is in my stamp cupboard with other abandoned glues. I would like to use it but the bottle is too stiff and hard for my painful hands to squeeze. :-(

    • @scraperfect
      @scraperfect  Před 7 lety

      We have NEVER had the glue dry up and become hard. The bottle is very soft and pliable, to. EVER. Are you sure it's not plugged??? Please contact us by email or phone so we can figure this out!!!! (Email contact on website; 866 644 4435 by phone.)

    I really liked the video but the jelly she used to pick up the hems is just an overpriced version of wax the orthodontists give away for FREE to kids who have braces to cover pokey wires in their mouths
