Just one detail to story. Yes, story of this specific train is fictional but the Legion and their journey to Vladivostok are real, it was tens of thousands of Czechoslovak soldiers travelling on multiple trains and it took them something around 2 years.

The train used in cutscenes is in reality mobile museum of the legion called Legiovlak (Legion-train) wich travels around the Czech republic and you can visit it for free (there is an option for voluntary pay, any money gained are used for maintenance and improvements of museum) and the guides are dressed in czechoslovak uniforms.
