Trump appointee, folks, for Postmaster General. I've had checks delayed for SIX months! I had a W2 last year never arrive! No complaints before this guy.
"Certain employees" is a red flag that they are being targeted, as in they are Good Hearts and are not joining the evil ones.
America is fucking broke. Think about it. A federal job not paying employees and the IRS wants you to wait to file? It sounds like they are fucking broke.
This is infuriating. These people work hard. They earned their pay, give it to them, no excuses. Stay up you guys. 🌹
If anything they should get a pay cut seeing how they can't even get our mail to us in a timely fashion it's taking 2 to 3 times longer to get our mail. They work hard at talking or playing on their phones.
@@Gpunk19 Have you seen the inside of the warehouses they work in? They are doing what can only be described as slave labor. You sir, are an idiot.

Stop projecting. YOU'RE a lazy employee and you therefore think everyone else too. You need to stop playing on your phone all day and get back to mopping the floors!
That’s horrible to need your paycheck and have to go through all this BS.
I can add here. Summary: The employees who didn’t get paid all fell for a fake site where they gave the hackers their portal info where they were able to get in and redirect the funds. It wasn’t all postal workers. Just the ones who fell for the fake site.
We need to start teaching about social engineering hacking starting in upper elementary, tbh.
CT comment is right. I suppose if you need to blame Usps for your stupidity, Usps should have required 2step authorization and maybe send notifications when direct deposit info is updated. I’m sure these folks will get paid again since the Usps tries to protect their public perception.
@@Bioandroid2023 fully agree. Most companies especially government companies already use multi factor authentication . Even my company requires it. They did start implementing it after this so there’s at least that.

Now not going to happen they are realizing that people can do thing’s on the computer now why bother the government is now realizing they are saving a lot of money
I got a job with the USPS as a rural carrier. They intensively trained me how to drive the USPS way but was sent out delivering packages before being trained in delivery. It took me too long and my supervisor told me I'm not good enough for the USPS, so I quit. If they're short staffed, it's their own damned fault. There's no way I'd work 3 weeks without a paycheck, either.
Ooh, scary. Lol. I haven't needed any mail in years. It's all online. They have sites to put all your bills.
Big loss. I know they get like 40 an hour and a pension. So they ain't going NOWHERE.
If only there were a way to get communication and pay your bills that is fast and efficient! (sarcasm)
Umm.. have you ever heard of email and the internet??
The USPS is a dinosaur of an agency. The only thing they are good for is raising your blood pressure while you wait in their line to speak to their surly employee.
The internet, fedex, and UPS could replace this porta-potty of an agency tomorrow and life as we know it would go on.
I apologize to the porta potty industry for the comparison. At least the porta potties are cleaned up on occasion. The USPS is still the flaming bag of dog crap it was 40 years ago.

The USPS sucks! They are lazy and incompetent.
If it weren’t for junk advertisement, the USPS would have been bankrupt decades ago!
Honestly, I love postal workers. Anywhere I have ever lived, I always make it a point to say hello to my mail carrier and know their name and smile at them and introduce myself. At Christmas, I give them 50 gift cards and on Halloween, I tape bags of candy to my mailbox for them to enjoy. During the hot months, I leave drinks in a cooler outside with a sign for them to take one. They work so freaking hard, in brutal conditions sometimes and are often overlooked or underappreciated. To hear that they are not getting paid because of a hack is awful! I hope it is resolved soon and they are paid what they are owed.
I used to be a mailman and the people that would do that for me I would treat like gold.
As a letter carrier I cannot tell you how much we appreciate having customers like you on our routes. I always leave Christmas cards and notes to my customers who do that. It means so much, thank you really. I can tell you we remember who treats us well and I treat those customers like gold.

That’s what I would start taking my time coming in later then early screw them that’s when I would start looking for a better job 👍
I didn't receive my direct deposit due to a screw up with corporate. I told them either overnight me a paper check before Saturday noon, or accept my resignation. No pay, no work!

We were told by our government that their cyber security was safe... If that's the case, then why does our government blame hackers for every mess up that seems to occur.
After retiring after 23 years as a postmaster/supervisor. They can issue an emergency pay advance till this gets straitened out and once it does it gets payed back. Can't have employees working for no pay but I did care about my employees and made sure they got paid right. I got pushed out because I had my employees back.
Yea good for you I got injured on the job on the 4th of January I been missing two weeks worth of COP payments and my PM response was I’m training a supervisor to do it. So what am I supposed to do in the mean time? Starve? What about gas? I shouldn’t have to jump through hoops and work while in pain just so I can get paid properly!!!
Sorry to lose you but Happy you made it to the end and understand why you would leave , you did your time . 27 years and still counting as a carrier , I use to think about when the day would come and I could retire but have changed my mind and have decided to just work until I die or just physically can’t do it anymore. I’ve got my own reasons for this decision . Good luck to you .
God Bless You. ❤️ It is shameful of the USPS for punishing an employee for doing what's right! The newscasters should have covered your case!
I interviewed with usps but when they told me that I would be expected to work 7 days a week even holidays and “days off” I was out…….the interviewer also told me usps would rather burn people out than give them a day off and lose productivity
I’m surprised they were so honest. My son worked there for a while and the interviewer isn’t exaggerating.
I think you might’ve misheard. you work 6 days a week when you start with 1 day off and you’re off holidays but you don’t get paid for all of them until you become a regular carrier. You might be expected to work any day of the week but it’s not slavery, they know you have a life 😂 and 6 days sounds like a lot but Sunday is like 3hrs off dropping off Sunday Amazon packages, you’re usually home before noon.
@John Bryer No you get all holidays off you just only get paid for the major ones until you finish your probation period then you get paid for all of them.

I hope they get this fixed but I see one day where they won't be able to get people to work for them anymore and the ones that do will leave cuz of the horrendous treatments be the higher ups.
This is unfortunate. It sounds like an employee clicked a malicious link likely sent through an email and was redirected to a fraudulent website here they put in their credentials which were stolen. The person who clicked on the link definitely should be disciplined, all employees trained on cyber security safety. In the meantime, this lady is going to have to wait like everybody else.

It seems this would be an entirely different issue if the USPS was today what it originally was -- the Post Office Department, a cabinet-level department of the federal government. POD was elevated to that status in 1872, but the Postal Reorganization Act of 1970 created the current "agency". There is a big difference between an agency and a federal department.
The post office could deliver faster and twice a day 100 years ago. This whole operation needs a clean sweep. Too many "buddies" doing favors hiring incompetent "buddies" has been ruining USPS for decades.

It wasnt exactly hacked into either - third party sites were being made and employees weren't checking the URL to be sure it was the correct one. The only people getting 'hacked' were people who put their info into the third party site and continued as normal after being redirected to the correct site
Im in michigan, same thing happened to me!
This isn't the only employer that has not paid their employees. I have had 3. One really big chain told us it would be next week each week. After building up a months pay, they paid less than half. Then acted like all was well.several places that pay weekly had 3-4 week holdback only to never get caught up after e-4 weeks after quitting. How can they hold out medical from your first weeks pay if they pay weekly and do 4 week holdback?
This isn’t true . Someone made a fake website . Some employees were trying to log onto the fake website without checking and confirming the website name . Some employees gave the hackers their info. The website name was close to the official website . But it wasn’t the official website we use .
Sometimes direct deposit isn’t the best option with these hackers out there.
The issue is that employees werent checking the URL to make sure they were logging in to the correct site and not a third party spoof - Less hacking and more user error

@@hawke7471 yeah it's not good in my neighborhood. The only recourse is to go in to the station in person and file a complaint, but that requires taking off of work or going in on Sat morning when the lines are out the door. Over it...
@@SolRayz people put those on carriers are wrong, when post office give you 12 hours work and want you to finish them in 10 hours, what the carrier s can do? If you don't do that, you get abused every day
This is what happens when the US government allows critical IT functions to be outsourced to India. This shit started occurring right after they started the H1 Visa program and American companys started laying off their entire IT Departments, and the government and these tech companies had the audacity to lie and say that there were no Americans that could do the job so they had to hire underpaid Indian workers to come in and do it. They immediately started losing customer data having their computer systems compromised anybody remember Sony and British Airways yeah the lie was all we don't know what happened they knew exactly what happened
If it was deposited to accounts overseas, it's gone. It's not coming back. The govt just needs to pay them.
I work for the postal service and I'm glad I only work Sundays and Holidays
PS I blame postmaster general Dejoy for any issues that the postal service is having
Is sad after the good job you guys did in the elections!
Still mad Trumppy Lost? How'd that whole insurrection thing work out for ya, or Ashley Babbot?
@@YahsLoveisEnough You do not know the definition of insurrection, do you commie? Just look at the mess your man Resident Biden is making of this country. You have some nerve to speak up!
poor girl i feel for her
When there are 200 employees in a usps plant walking around staring at their phones,no wonder!
My local postal office hits me with a busy signal after being on hold for 2 minutes. I've never gotten them on the phone. It's been a week. I've been calling since last week! I'm going to see those lazy turds in person. I'm disabled and will have to pay Lyft for transportation and I'm probably gonna be a Karen about it.
Well be a Karen to the post master. Don’t go in there being a jerk to the window clerks who have nothing to do with your issue.
I used to work for the USPS, and it was brutal work! Not getting paid for doing what you do there is just not cool.
Brutal? Give it a rest drama queen.
@Dave Yup!! Brutal for me. The job is not for everyone.
@@dave8599 During the busy season (between Thanksgiving and New Year’s) it is brutal. The amount of packages that each USPS branch receives is easily doubled to tripled.
Yes I agree with Juliana…I use to work them also…this job is not t for the weak…not only you deal with packages and mail but when out on routes, you don’t know what’s headed for you…someone could be watching your truck to break in a steal or to injury or to harm the postal worker…and their are more stories about the post office I could share on this platform but their is a lot…but for those that never worked for them BE QUIET!!! You can not talk anything if you haven’t had the experience!
@@dave8599 why don’t you give a try drama king…? The work is definitely brutal, you basically have no social life you are a non career employee
