Steve came to see Lucas play. Proving once again that he is the best parent these kids have.
I love Eddie so much, I liked him a lot in his first scene, but fell in love when he was in the woods with Chrissy
Me too, and it’s really sad about Chrissy. We didn’t get to see much of her, but her character was very sweet yet, tortured.

*I can see why will hasn’t stood up for elven because he was also kinda bullied in the earlier seasons when he was found & ppl called him “zombie boy” so he probably still feels conscious from that.*
And he just seems so traumatised, scared of everyone and himself...

@@pau7886 my guy 'died' and people still bullied him, and don't even mention his dad using his death as a way to make money. so this kid definitely doesn't see himself as much and thinks of himself very lowly. I don't think he has even the slither of confidence to make him stand up to anyone.
29:10 i mean you can't blame will for not stepping up to eleven's bullies. he is probably the one who has faced the worst of the bullying out of all the characters, and he isn't the sort of character to stand up for himself and doesn't have much confidence. you can tell by how nervous he gets when shit starts happening in school with el and angela, he probably wants to help but he probably just physically restrains himself because of how much harsh bullying he faced in the past. it's like a defensive mechanism. i don't think will could do much to help el and will doesn't have the courage anyways.
After the kind of shit will has been through in the upside down....he should be the bully not get bullied. 🤣
Seeing Will, throughout the season, sit back and watch Elle get bullied while doing nothing to help her bothered the heck out of me. I read all your reasons for why you think he does nothing to help and I get what you're saying but it still really really really saddens me that even the people in Elle's own house doesn't do anything to stick up for her.
@@mcigloo yeah that was sad for me to watch too, but it's clear that Will obviously cares for El in any scenes they have with each other. You have really got to sympathise for Will though, he knows he's helpless and you can see him in tears when El's presentation goes wrong. He doesn't have any power to stop it and I guess even if he did at moments like that, especially after going through the bullying he went through, it's not that selfish to want to avoid it, or if your body freezes up like that. He went through awful bullying, even after his 'death' and Will probably doesn't know what to do to help El. But he clearly cares for her in a lot of scenes, so it's definitely not in selfish manner. I wouldn't know what to do too, you can't be any help to someone if you are both getting bullied. It's just more unnecessary harm.
@@sadiesimp2215 Like I said, I get what you're saying about his reasons and I understand and agree with them, it just hurts my soul to see Elle get continually bullied over and over and to see Will just looking on from a distance. My twin sister was bullied quite a bit but people learned quickly to NEVER do it in front of me. Of course, I was never violent with girls but I did get in more than one fight with dudes who thought they could pick on her. I'm not advocating violence and my sister actually got very angry with me for intervening but I couldn't sit by and watch it happen ya know?
@@mcigloo Yeah, I mean I am a girl (surprise surprise) and I never got bullied (in the way you think) and I didn't have any guy friends nor did I have any brothers. I was picked on by my friends and classmates but in the way you can't tell anyone because none of it was deemed 'bullying'. Like constantly being the butt of the joke or a hard Kiss Marry Kill or asking me out constantly as a joke and laughing as if it was the most unbelievable thing in the world. And I see myself in Will a lot because I was coming to terms with my sexuality, not knowing whether I liked girls, or liked boys and either way I struggled with a lot of internalized homophobia and hated myself for it. My friends would always call me a lesbian as a joke and now they tell me 'everybody would say I was a lesbian' during a time it was a funny thing to be. But I'd love to say I would stop someone if I saw them doing to same to a friend of mine, and I hate myself for it but I know I'd freeze up and not know what to do too. I think I'd make things worse for them. So I totally get you, it would be hard to watch and Will probably hates himself for not doing enough too, judging by the type of person his character is.
This season is dark AF. Like good luck to all the parents that have to deal with kids that will have nightmares.

First episode was literally shocking and I think the first time I have been legitimately terrified of the villain for this season.
It was 1 am when I started the first episode when I finished second episode it was 3:20 am and I refused to sleep until 4 ish this season is hella scary
to be honest it's not scary at all where there are so many cringe one liners from erica and dustin, also irritating robin
I'd hope kids isn't watching this is the first place 😂😂

I think that was the quickest I've seen someone catch that Chrissy has an E.D. instead of being pregnant. I don't think a lot of people really catch it the first time they watch it.

I think I understand where Will is coming from, him not speaking up for Eleven means the attention is off him. It become a little clear why when the season continues.

Seriously the writers of this show are doing a phenomenal job, I really thought this season would bore me.
in my opinion Stranger Things 4 hands down the best season. Just finished the season so buckle up for a crazy ride lol.
For me it goes Season One, Three, Four and Two. While Season One has the top spot on my list for obvious reasons, I absolutely loved Season 3. Shit had sum of my favourite Steve and Dustin moments, I enjoyed Robbin’s introduction and interaction with Steve, loved the Soviet Union story introduction and the scary Russian assassin dude, loved the nerdy Russian dude and his slow-building friendship with Murry (rest in peace nerdy Russian dude), the fleshy Godzilla Mindflayer and the Resident Evil-ass Hospital Monster were dope as fuck and my two favourite monsters in the whole series, and Billy’s redemption/ sacrifice in the end was tragic, tearjerking, but beautiful.
For me it's Season 1/4, then 3 and then 2. Each season was really good but sometimes it was a bit slow especially in season two which is why it's at the bottom. Other than that season two was amazing especially when it comes to Noah's (Will) acting. He did an amazing job and El too ofc

$20 in 1986 adjusted for inflation is $53 today.
The current price where I live is as low as $50 an ounce. He is charging her $100 an ounce. $80 per ounce (today) after he offers her it for $15 for half an ounce.

the young millie/el is cgi-ed. it's crazy because on the first watch you'll really think they shot it way way back in Season 1
Then why did they cast someone who looks just like little her to play young eleven?

to be honest i think that's the worst effect i've seen in this show
It looks really bad when it shows el in front of brenner. They hair looks all weirdly smoothed and blurred
@@skyemadisyn163 I mean yeah, but this type of cgi is nearly impossible to make look perfect. It’s done extremely well, but the thing is that people know how faces look. So tiny imperfections throw the whole face off. The CGI in those scenes are incredible work, probably some of the best face replacements just ever done from what I have seen. But people who don’t know about cgi and faces will probably say it’s bad.

Will definitely has a crush on mile but it might not be obvious to you guys. S3 the arguement in the rain mike said something abt will being jealous and needing a gf but he doesn’t want one. Joyce also said he might get a gf soon and he awkwardly smiled because he doesn’t like them. Also the scene in this episode! Will moves his leg from the girl because he likes mike!!!
You won't understand anything about the villain for awhile. But don't worry, all will be known and everything will make sense after episode 7. All i'lll say without spoiling it, remember the first 8 min of this episode, it has so much importance. They put that in there for a reason. "Eleven What did you do?". Enjoy the ride guys! It gets insane.

so the best way i can explain maxs pain is so this show/musical called dear evan hansen, where basically this guy who was rude and high all the time even rude to his family, he kills himself, and even tho he was not the best guy and was always rude to his sister, you see her struggling with missing him and hating him at the same time. like he wasnt redeemed bc he khs but it kinda showed what he was going through and that he wasnt reacting to trauma in a healthy way. now billy wasnt a good guy either, more so then the guy i just mentioned. and he didnt necessarily redeem himself from the racism but we still saw (and max found out) what in his childhood had made him like that (orr at least contributed to his now self((or now past self bc he is dead but cest la vie))). so even though she had disliked him for so long she cant help but feel sorry for him bc she didnt see what he was going through to help.

I didn't start watching this show until I was somewhere between the ages of 19 and 21 years old even though it came out in 2015 when I was 15. I remember everyone in highschool talking about it, but I didn't hop on the bandwagon until there were like 3 seasons already out on Netflix.I was hooked from the very beginning. Lol

Rob is hot..anyways, I think Vecna is a predator for people's trauma. He only goes for people who've been through pain and seeking relief from other things. For Max (pills), for Chrissy (dr*gs). This first episode had me GAGGED downnnn. Watched it at 3AM zooted and couldn't sleep lmaoo😭

I live in PA and we have Medical Mary Jane and it's pretty damn expensive and doesn't get you high..because it's regulated. New Jersey just went recreational but I've been told it's really expensive.

Something that is very prominent in this series is how people grow up and apart, which mirrors real life. Last season it was everyone but Will having a girlfriend; this episode exposes Noah's alienation from his 'geek' friends now that he's become a 'jock,' and the gulf that develops between those separated by significant distance. One of the biggest charms of Stranger Things is its exploration of the human condition, along with the "totally 80s" vibe, of course.

What you said about the basketball game was exactly what my friends and I said when we watched, almost verbatim 😅 We were with Lucas, it’s was easier to move DnD than a basketball game. And it was the championship! Even if he was gonna be on the bench the whole time, it’s important for him to be there for his team. But we didn’t like how we was doing it so much for popularity.
Agreed, take out the whole popularity aspect of it and it's still something that is very important for Lucas and that should be enough for his friends to be there for him.

I'm glad you guys pointed out that Will was doing nothing in the being-El's-brother department on the bullying, not even so much as going to stand beside her. He didn't seem to be getting bullied anymore himself at this point (a popular-looking girl was even hitting on him), and he could have at least stood beside her and not laughed. Even if he didn't actively defend her, he could have at least not let her hang out there by herself.

Steve is one of my favorite characters, I like the new character Eddie this season A LOT. my ma told me that this season was very graphic and really creepy, a lot of other people that watched it said the same thing, i watched the first episode last night and yeah it was really graphic and creepy af. I watched the last episode today till July 1st to finish part 2. The bone cracking, I fucking hate that shit, creeps me tf out and the noise. they better not kill off Steve or Eddie, I mean I hope they don’t kill of anybody. the max part, it made me cry when she was floating in the air with that song, and then when it showed Billy, I cried because it brought back those fucking memories from last season 😞 episode 7 is a fucking twist and i was like oh my god wtf.
I’m glad that I was the only one upset that they didn’t go to his game. That pissed me off

I mean it's sad no one came to Lucas' game but I wouldn't either. His whole reasoning was if they come and he wins he can be cool and then they can too, which is not how it works. His friends would never fit in with that basketball team. Like Dustin said, they are proud nerds. They would have to give up everything they love to do, if they were to try and be cool and fit in with the "cool kids". And honestly, they are too weird and non-comformist to even be good at pretending not to be nerdy. It would have never worked out. Why do this when they already found their community where they don't have to pretend to be cool, they are just seen as cool with their other nerdy outcasts.
