  • Disappointing Air France Premium Economy flight to Seoul.
    I was looking for a flight to Seoul in South Korea, when I decide to book this flight in premium economy with Air France I saw the new cabin on the website during booking, I was excited to fly the new product. But 2 weeks before my flight they changed the aircraft to an old B777-300ER airplane with this old and totally uncomfortable premium economy seats.
    I was disappointed and want it to change the flight, but unfortunately I booked the cheapest ticket option it was not possible.
    The first leg from Dusseldorf to Paris was fine nothing special flying with HOP Air France regional airline in economy after a hectic transit experience I made it to the M gates at CDG airport.
    My next flight to Seoul was delay by 1 hour, crew was very welcoming and I saw the old cabin of the B777, especially business class seat was horrible with a 2-3-2 layout, old angled seat and I was so sorry for the person who has to sit between 2 people.

    CDG airport really is a transit passenger‘s nightmare. I always plan extra time if I fly through CDG. Nice insight into this Premium Economy. Glad you went through it for us ;-)

      Transit was not easy to be honest plan always extra time and be aware with AF new refurbished aircraft’s they might be changed to an old one.

    Hi, I wish to report a bad experience during my flight with Air France from Paris to Seoul on 8 April 24, I was in premium eco class, after serving the lunch on board to 10 passengers, in my turn, there is no more meal with scallops and only vegetarian meal is available, I have no choice to accept it , I did not receive any word of apologies, secondly, I met a steward at the buzz class and asked for a beer and I have been told to go to the back on the eco cabin class to ask for that, I am quite surprised to hear this response from him , they could not treat their clients with this manner, shame to them to wear an uniform of a reputed air line, I don’t want to travel with Air France in the future

      We had almost the same issue with AF sorry for your bad experience. You have to report this to customer service.

    It looks like Air France have cut back on their service on longhaul flights. I flew CDG-ICN on an Air France Boeing 777 about 5 years ago in economy class and we were served two full hot meals plus a mid-flight snack and there were snacks available in the galley. Crew were excellent on my flight and always present in the cabin. Premium economy doesn't look good value for money on AF- only benefit is a wider seat and more legroom. I hope you enjoyed Seoul- it's an absolutely fantastic city!

      In 5 years AF changed a lot, meal service is downgraded and not many healthy options anymore. Crew were nice but not so much present in the cabin. And the breakfast was a disaster on such a long haul route. They can do better for sure. But Seoul was a fantastic city I really enjoyed my stay 😄

    Flied AF185 & 188 last week.
    The food were disasters, penne with tomato sauce for the main without choice. Shame on AF.
    Baggage weee delayed 60hours when returning home😢

      Sorry for hearing this, AF must to improve their onboard food offer I get a lot of complains about this. Thx for sharing your experience

      PM of AF was not great especially the seat was a huge disappointment. This was the first time for me trying out premium economy so I can’t advice you which airline has better experience but thank you so much for your comment

    I had the worst experience with an Air France flight ✈️ Premium Economy, 2 days ago, we got terrible service. The food was bad. The butter at the bottom of the main dish had melted, causing the tray to drown in melted butter. I told him about that, and he took a napkin and placed it under the main dish in a humiliating manner until he did not apologize and didn't decide to change the tray. The bread was very cold and tasted moldy. The seat was uncomfortable, and the blanket was not clean. As for the bathrooms, throughout the trip, no one will enter to clean them. They are very dirty, have an unpleasant smell, and do not contain toilet seat paper. As for breakfast, it was worse than dinner. Do not believe what you see in this video because it is not true. At least respect the passengers. We pay you a significant amount. I do not recommend traveling on these lines. Even the manner of dealing at the Paris airport was bad. They did not want to speak to us in English. They used French. For anyone who does not know French, this is a big disaster. Be careful, from one moment to the next, they may change the terminal, so you must return fast to the train to take another terminal . Thus, you will be lucky if you do not miss the second flight. so it's horrible 😕
