ストーリー:
セーブルタワーの戦いから2年後・・・不死の魔王デイモスを倒し、ダロキン共和国に平和をもたらした勇者一行は、新たなる冒険や仲間との出逢いを求め、その地を後にした。彼らは今、ブロークンランド山地を通り、グラントリ公国を目指す。D&D シャドーオーバー ミスタラの物語は、ここから始まる・・・。

I remember watching my friend play thru the hole game with one quarter. He knew everything about the game. Just watching him play was fun enough for me.

this is hands down the best beat em up. there were multiple paths, secret weapons that you need to be made from bits of powerful monsters you killed, a variety of fighting game like moves to perform and a variety of characters to choose from with different play styles. even the spells on the casters are different if you pick the different skin.
"fantasy side scroller" lol NOT a "beat em up"
The Knights of Valour series by IGS (ironic company name I know) was the exact same way too.
I think I still lean towards Aliens vs. Predator being my favorite, but I think the D&D games are probably 2nd and 3rd place, and then maybe Captain Commando 4th.

this has to be one of the most complicated arcade brawlers
I like how this took everything that was great about King of Dragons and made it even better!
The wizard doesn't seem to have a ranged attack, however both games are great...Knights of the Round and Golden Axe1,2,3 are the other best games of this type...
これはゲーセンでクソハマった（笑）初めてしたときに選択肢があるのに迷った挙げ句攻略もわからず、レッドドラゴンの炎で一撃死で凹んだこともある、攻略の情報交換で友人できたり思い出深いゲームでした。

Neither the Sword of Legends nor the Staff of Elemental Power is necessary. You do need the Staff of Wizardry on the M-User though.

This is the best run that this game has ever had.

You ain't the only one I usually play alone also. I try to get my nephews into it and they are like Meh. Its like come on give it a try at least.
I also play alone (this game o other games in mame o emulators or fan made games) since the friends that i have dont live near my house) when we do manage to get together to play oldschool games we have a blast👍...
I anybody here likes oldschool beat em ups i recomend (its for pc but its free and you can get it on the oficial web site...

I wish they put this on current consoles or let you share games across certain consoles. I just booted up my ps3 again to play this and a bunch of other arcade games and no one is playing online like at all I can never find a match only in SF3 online. The real magic of DND you only see with more players

@@johndewberryiii9925Large Bottle of Oil is OP. It can stunlock a boss when it is down by throwing multiple bottles. 2 players with 8 bottles each can easily kill a boss in a few seconds

What in the world happened at the last boss battle? Did they cast wish?
I believe you need to have the staff of wizardry? Not sure if that's what it's called, but the red one that you get towards the end of the game. If your level is high enough then the staff should be glowing. I think on the hardest difficulty everyone needs to be at full life too.
Then all players must press all buttons simultaneously except for the use item/spell button. If it's done right the staff will break and the Magicuser will cast "final strike" summoning all the elementals in one spell and do massive damage to the boss and everyone's life total will be reduced to 1.
You will also need 2 million total XP between all players.
