congratulation...very good car!!!
Quick tip when u start the car with the key u dont have to hold the key just turn it all the way to the right and let go and it turns on automatically neat little feature on all Volkswagen Touareg
Thanks for the tutorial, I'm picking up my 04 Touerag tomorrow.
jbgulfport1 same tomorrow I’m checking out my supposedly new car the ‘03 vow Touareg
Tip ... that spare tire has to be pumped up for use. They store it that way to save space.
There is supposed to be a tank of compressed air for the spare tire. It's missing in yours. There is a regular AC plug-in receptacle in the cargo area on the side wall you use for the compressor. I bought an '06 v-8 a couple of years ago. I'm STILL finding things I didn't know were there. I found a DRAWER the other day. Lol Love my car, hate to change the battery.
Love it, great
Word of advice. You mentioned that you like smoother leather, I would highly suggest that you place you baby seat on a seat cover before the bottom edges dig into the leather otherwise you’ll not be enjoying the rougher leather with a large cut and a rubbed out seats.
Hah the big gulp cup holder that's so awesome.
I didn't look way back maybe this has been answered already or maybe you already read the manual but that spare needs to be inflated when needed and the pump to do that is right next to it.
What a mess inside the touareg lol... nice vid dude tks for share!
GREAT!!!! tHIS IS BEST TOUAREG EVER! :3
wouldnt be so sure about that, some of them suffered from overheating
@morrisa93
Nope......nope nope nope......not HI at all actually! Thanks for watching though! Where's your video's at? Upload some for us! ; )
Great Touareg vid. Aaron! I have the exact same model and I love it too. You still have your Touareg because this vid. was made over 10 years ago.
I have one and i have a problem wirh the valve gasket, the mechanic is very expensive
@MrMcnuggets5 Yes it is expensive because the parts are from Germany. Do your research if you want to purchase one. 2004 was a trouble year for the Touareg. 2005 and so on are much better. If you want one it is pretty affordable, most owners get rid of them once it is out of warranty. If you look on Craiglist you will find a 2004 or 2005 price range from $10,000 to $13,000. But there are some that goes well over $13,000.
@dpottinger69 Picking ours up this evening, I've read disabling the whole assembly including the 4 sensors with a $80 specialty tools permanently solves this.
Just found this out on my 04 but if you look under the rear windshield wiper theres a button that will open the rear window also to make access a little easier to the back.
So I have a question about the compass in the clock if you are still active on CZcams or have the car. Does the compass only come on when the car is on or is there a button you have to press to make it display?
looks nice than same year cayenne
@B0RNfree Thank u very much for your reply. It's ok I just going to stay with my bicycle a little longer :D lol
You are pretty amazing
My fob otherwise works, but it won't open the rear hatch.
Prengeis😍
@ferraribros94 Seperate from the button that you have to touch to get the back hatch open? Can you please post a video of you using this "button"?
Hey guys I have a VW touareg 2004 my battery died and I tried just starting it sparked when I was trying to jumpstart and ever since then the car is not giving any ignition when u out the key in u here 3 beeps and then steering defective workshop comes up any one came a cross something like that? Or have any idea wat could be my problem will really appreciate
Thanks
👍👍👍
I love this car so much, but everyone keeps telling me that is very expensive on the maintenance side... :(
@MrMcnuggets5 LOL I was going to get the car. But after going to the Touareg forum and finding out all the issues they have with the SUV I decided not to buy one. Although, it is a nice looking car, but the cost of keeping it healthy is too expensive.
Well just want to know how your VW Tuareg is shaping up, heard it usually has got some down side to it like electrical problems and stuff. cos i am thinking of buying one, nice video by the way.
@Aaron jackson I just want to ask how your Touareg is holding up. My mom got it in 2004 and finally gave it to me. Does/did yours have a ton of problems? Cuz I can guarantee my parents threw down at least 10 grand fixing that car since they bought it. It's fine now but that's because neither she nor I barely drive it. Just want to hear back. Thanks!
I know obviously has been a while since you posted, but I had some question I hope you dont mind sharing answers to. I keep reading reviews that this specific year keeps breaking down? How's your's doing? Also, if so, reviews say they're very expensive to fix? But I have a feeling that's because all these people go to the dealership?. How's yours doing over all?
I'm going to sleep...:))) Nice review! really!
hey how bad is the gas mileage like driving around city vs more highway...i saw 12 city 19 highway just wanted to see how accurate that is
Hey dude use 600 box for new rims, inside there is a dump, nice VW
Hey $10k huh, damn I am so glad I got rid of it when I did. I only had it for several months, I couldn't handle the 14 mpg average that it got. Then I took it to Carnax and they said there was something seriously wrong with it that was gonna cost a lot of money so I sold it ASAP. I ended up buying a Mini Cooper for gas mileage cause I was traumatized
Some of the other cons are: cheap plastic interior, colors will wear out on most of the buttons, the driver side and passenger side mirror will break later on.
I can’t find the Bluetooth on this car . Someone can help.?
the best off that SUV are the rins!!! o BF goodrich A/T come to me ahahhaha
Happy man
is the Mercedes ML better than VOLKSWAGON Touareg ???
Best suv car!

Hallo Touareg Besitzer.

You're Montez from Workaholics!
What about the suspension? I feel like mine sits too high......Is it self leveling?
The standard touareg is not self leveling or adjustable the top of the line model is fully adjustable and self leveling

Very coveted number in Asia, would pay a hefty dime for those numbers deemed to be lucky.
Lo bendecido o es que es para que te lo limpien jajjaka
So I just saw you at QT I know that because I couldn’t believe how my stomach went loopy! In the truck you looked exactly like my ex husband. Now I believe you don’t want to hurt people. But I also think you are involving me without my wanting to be involved. Why? Why show me this? To treated me? I hope you agree it is cooked time to have it be over.
old !
Not so much the looks but how you speak lol
Touareg without diesel is shit ;)
Kalaschmikov the v8 sounds awesome. (I drive a v8). Awesome on freeway drives and the mileage is surprisingly good on long highway drives. The city however is a different story. I think I'm lucky to get 10mpg. it is very heavy, and it's hard not to stomp on the 4.2 litre v8. no breakdown, but needs a timing belt at 120,000km. Replaced the ac unit, fixed an air suspension leak, replaced all the lights, put in a nice kenwood/Garmin nav unit, bought some 17" canyon wheels, some nice big off-road, and finally some nice big Piaa fog lights. Needless to say, I like my touareg, but it is good to know a good VW mechanic. Taking it to the dealership for almost anything would make it pretty much a write off. It's not cheap to drive, but it is a special vehicle.
Bonjour
Bonjour
first problem bought a 04....first year coming out with the vehicle first time on the line so there are bound to be multiple problems.... my theory with vw's is purchase the next year model so that they fix all the issues from the year before and if i was you i would of traded it in for a 05 or up and then you still will be driving a BADASS vw right now loving life lol
