I feel bad for Horvath, in 2 games he's allowed 2 goals but both those goals were just world class, absolutely nothing he could've done about them.
That was a better goal.
Seeing that goal live I wasn't sure if I really saw what I saw... had to check replay just to make sure and goodness me he did indeed do a flying scissor kick straight out of KungFu Football

Defence was embarrassing today especially the fullbacks. Clark not good enough. Attackers working off scraps battling away in the heat. Some serious tweaks to the team are needed because this was painful to watch. Congrats to Thorpe on making his debut he was a breath of fresh air!
What i saw in the highlights, is we had 3 great chances to score. we did not. clark is good enough. the team is good enough. we was not clinical. the defence only one goal in. it is early in season, so give them time to gel.

You weren’t alone in watching the entire game. Clark is good enough although he’s being outshone by Campbell at the moment (no shame in that). Defence has been solid so far, Bell was a little off yesterday though. Serious tweaks needed? I don’t know about that. We’re dominating and creating far more than the opponents. Teams no longer go to KR to take three points against a newly promoted team, they go there happy to get a point from a goalless draw.
@@freakazoid4691 im not doubting clarks ability i just think in this midfield position he looks off it. The serious tweaks i was on about were probably taking potts out for Osho until Doughty is fit and just playing Thorpe instead of Clark until Lansbury or Pelly have returned. Need Cornick back in the team aswell because the attackers are struggling with the service they are receiving. I agree time is needed to gel but these performances have been really disappointing considering we’ve been at home for 2 of them and both teams sat back the entire game
As a North end fan I think you might be over reacting a bit. Apart from a peach of a goal from pne I didn't see a lot between the sides. Luton could easily have won that game on a luckier day. Keep your pecker up. I saw enough to see a solid side that will be at least challenging for for the play offs come April time. We, Preston usually get off to the shittest starts you could ever have yet somehow always find a way up the table to be there or thereabouts at the end.
Seem to get good gates at Luton. I'm impressed with their fanbase. Or is it just a really small ground?
This is supposed to be a highlights video, there were no highlights apart from one superb goal.
Over the top time wasting, a tackle on Thorpe that could have broken his leg that wasn’t even a foul according to the ref and plenty more fouls left unpunished, Luton toothless up front.

@@JD--we4rd To be fair the service to the strikers is poor Morris needs space to run at defenders we lack a creative midfielder Clarke has been poor so far we need Fred & Doughty fit to be able to play the way we want too. its a bit worrying the amount of injuries we have already.
Yeah I also felt Luton were lucky not see get half a dozen cards. Oh well

Whoever edits this stuff needs to stop dropping the "ref maybe made a mistake with that one" - the tackle on Thorpe was a straight red and Adebayo clearly had his ankle clipped for a pen. No problem, PNE came with a game plan to snatch a goal and then defend with 10 men (and half-a-dozen yellows) but let's see true highlights and not this sanitised version.

Whatever game plan they came with left them taking 3 points back up north while Luton were left only with a big bunch of sour grapes. Pne scored a goal worthy of winning any match and that ultimately was the only difference between the sides
