A very helpful video -- now I'm understanding curb adapters better. Since it has to be sturdy enough to support the entire weight of the new unit, makes sense that it has to be made up correctly in advance, not expecting modifications to be made in the field. In this situation I noticed also the supply and return openings needed some lateral shifting, so I imagine that explains the height of the adapter. The height of the unit now will make it more convenient to service, but since it's a Trane there won't be much need for that. lol On a separate note, that was a great idea having the crane operator position his crane just right so you could capture sunbursts as the old unit flew up and the adapter was lowered. Hollywood can't beat that for effect.
@guidojones3212 send me the model and serial number for the unit you'll be installing to j.d.arizonasolutions@outlook.com and any questions So I can answer them for you!

You hit all the nails on the head haha
I can't stand 4 to 5 ft curb adapters without cat walks hard to service unless you drag step ladder on the roof
it's part of the business 👍🏽
