- Bradley Cooper is being tipped for Oscar success after writing, directing and staring in new movie A Star is Born.
In the film - which is a third remake of a film that came out in the 1920's, he plays a fading country singer who discovers a new talent called Ally (played by Lady Gaga).
The pair sang all their songs live - with Bradley even taking to the stage at Glastonbury - something he told us was pretty nerve-wracking.
A Star is Born is in UK cinemas from 3rd October

I have not seen the movie as of yet. But after watching and listening to Bradley singing Black Eyes. There are many real so called pop-rock stars that would pale in significance next to Brad. He’s a really good actor but as a singer, guitarist and song writer. He’s bloody fantastic. Go Mr Cooper 👍

He made her a movie star and she made him a singer?
Brad portrayed the character of Jackson Maine perfectly. When it was the scene where Ally about to cancel her concert and they cuddled in the bed I looked up to Jack eyes and it was so damn selfless and pathetic. I knew right away it will be sad ending as he ended himself. 😭 Lady Gaga acting was amazing too. This pair had a good chemistry on screen, I was drowned by the movie for sure. Still it stuck my head whenever I played the soundtracks of the film especially I'll never love again. Hopefully this movie gives him and gaga win a nominee or something both of them deserve it!!!!

I can't agree more. Bradley's performance was sensational. His best work ever. You can't help but love his character and you want to root for him but when we he says to Ally I just want to look at you one more time at the end, I knew what was going to happen. He was so lonely and so in need of love and she gave that to him and he loved her so much he couldn't let himself get in the way of her dream. Broke my damn heart.
Very few movies move me and this one really does. It puts me in a head space of very melancholy and sad.
I think, Bradley keeps getting better looking! Love his voice! It's very sexy! He should've won for Best Actor!

Not to take away from Rami Malek, but he didn’t even sing in his movie. I feel like Bradley deserved at least a Golden Globe for his performance, sang the songs, acted, directed...c’mon!

I never thought that the ending was going to be the way it was. I ran out to Super Walmart and bought the soundtrack.
I downloaded the whole soundtrack a few days after watching the film.
