Only team in this city to get excited for - the amount of young talent we have is scary and we’ll have a top 3 pick this year. A LOT to get excited for! Bedard will have a statue next to Jordan when it’s all said and done
We have two top 4 defensemen with maybe 2 top 6 fwds in Bedard and maybe kurashev and then a great top 9 in athanasiou. Reichel struggled this year and we don’t know how our other prospects will really turn out besides nazar and Moore but how good will they really be? And that jones trade fucked us giving up a future first to be a possible playoff team. It could work out but it’s far from guaranteed

I don’t get why the NHL drafts guys before they even play a game in college! There’s so many unknowns. And it can be years before we know if they can play professionally. It’s a looong wait for fans. And the Hawks need talent fast!
Cause they are still young in highschool or in the junior or smaller leagues before they are even eligible for college. They first graduat from high school or EXCEEDING expectations in the small league they are playing at. Don't call them nobodies just because they have YET to play college hockey yet nhl is different then football or basketball theirs more development options then just college for hockey for these young prospects

Why do we continuously groom these players and then trade them away? Every decision from the top down in this current organization is horrible. We have become a joke and bottom feeders of the league. Next they will trade Bedard and say its cuz we are in a rebuild and need the draft pick 😂. I bet some college teams could beat the current roster. We're going on 10 years since we won the cup and the team seems to get progressively worse every year...how does that happen and people at the top keep their jobs???

Literally everyone lost their jobs. Everyone. No one is trading Bedard. They are bad by design as they rebuild. That got them Bedard and will get them another top 4 pick this year. They also have one of the deepest prospect pools in the NHL. It is nearly impossible to be this aggressively wrong about anything.
We traded Panerin and Cat because we WERE rebuilding then. We finally have a solid young core again so now it’s time to push. The dark days will soon be behind us.
@@cdu1010 Lol I never said they were trading Berdard, it was a joke like they would for another draft pick. They traded a lot of great players over the last few years in the name of a rebuild that so far has produced a lump sum of a last place team and Berdard so I don't think I'm wrong about it. Lots of teams have rebuilt and at least been decent within a few years. We have no leadership. Hopefully this young squad can bounce back next year. Injuries didn't help and also controversy with Perry. I'm not expecting a cup run but geez can we not lose every game.
@@jdog345 if we kept panarin, debrincat, dach, kane, and toews we’d easily be a top 16 team in the playoffs right now. It’s questionable how much toews and Kane have left in the tank. So They’re rebuilding for something that will last longer. Will it pay off? Or should we have stuck with those players? Time will tell
