Do you have any idea the level of excruciating agony god inflicted on them? There were twelve. Only twelve I guarantee millions of others attempted to endure what god would do to them and recanted as you and I would. And are being burned eternally in hell. For no fault of their own. Just for being human. Jesus is love but if you are weak his father will abandon you. I believe in Jesus but even if he chose me to be a disciple i would kill myself before being tortured like this. Because if I was I’d probably go so insane with pain that I’d betray Jesus in two seconds. I’m going to hell because I’m weak. I’d choose suicide over betrayal and torture. I’d send myself to hell rather than turning on someone who can endure and having god throw me into it.

In John chapter 17, Jesus states that only one apostle had a tragic end and that was the son of perdition, Judas Iscariot. Death from persecution is not a tragic ending when you are in Christ. 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18. Following Jesus is making the commitment to die for Him if necessary. Amen.
We have much privilege to worship and spread the gospel in today but the end where persecution and being thrown to jail is coming beheaded etc Jesus help us be stead fast Amen

The record of the death of Judas in Matthew and in Acts do not differ, but one just gives more detail. Judas hung himself, then his body fell to the ground and burst open.
If AD started from the day Jesus was born, and the age difference between Jesus and John couldn't have been more than five at most; how then did John live to AD180 and yet he died at 94. I don't get this AD thing.

Brethren,l do agree partly with you,on"God Is faithful,but hey,l would advise you to dig deeper in the word,like in Luke's gospel,...coz you'll get to understand that yes Jesus prayed that He had keep His safe,and that none was lost,(l think it was in the prayer before being arrested,after last supper)but also,l believe he mentions also that after He is gone*they,will have to stay strong in their faith coz of what was to come,for He already prepared them,that they would be hated and persecuted for His Name sake.and that's why He told them,"but take heart,for l have overcome it all"...just like Paul,he knew already what was waiting ahead,(persecution coz of his faith in Christ Jesus)...and even today,yes we(believers of Christ,we do know that we'll have to carry the cross each day,and ofcourse it's never guaranteed that it would be all smooth thought the walk,BUT,as His word says in psalms,"Even though l walk through the shadow of the valley of death,l shall fear no evil"

We don't know who the beloved disciple really was as the 4th Gospel gives no clues. Its been a point of debate among biblical scholars for decades. He also was not the John that have the vision on Patmos as they are two separate people. It is unlikely that he wrote the 4th gospel as that was the work of the church at Ephesus as the Greek has a high level of sophistication and though that is beyond an uneducated fisherman.
You are wrong. God gave knowledge to his apostles that defies human logic. A miracle is a miracle because it is deemed impossible by mere human estimation. With God ALL things are possible🙏🕊️✝️
@@tw2800 He does but what I said is that taught by Biblical scholars and found in any commentary. The Bible is a lot more complicated than face value and things are not as first appear. Many of the letters are products of a school of thought in the same way as Isaiah as the Greek is beyond that of men who had no education. The disciples may have taught but it is unlikely that they wrote.
@douglas5911 Isaiah is part of the Hebrew OT. It was originally written in Hebrew not Greek and there is every legitimate reason to believe that Isaiah was educated enough in Hebrew to write himself. Just as the prophet Jeremiah, Daniel, Ezekiel and other major and minor prophets wrote for themselves. Check the dead sea scrolls which agree with the modern Hebrew Bible. Just as Moses was educated enough to have written Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. There are instances where apostles did have someone write a letter for them. In those instances they read the letter themselves and signed it before it was sent to a church. Consider Paul the apostle who was a highly educated pharisee. If you look at the educational requirements of the Pharisees you will see they were highly learned. Also when Paul did have someone write for him it was word for word and he read and signed the letter before it was sent to the church. The whole Bible is inspired by The Holy Spirit. Before reading The Holy Bible we need to pray earnestly for God to open our heart, mind, and ears. Pray for the wisdom that is not human but only comes from God. As you read the Bible The Holy Spirit will convict you of truth. Don't approach the Bible as a mere Book. Humble yourself before the living God and He will lift you high and greatly multiply your wisdom and understanding.

apostle John didn't die ,as Enoch was taken up by God(Jen 5:24)as well as Elijah went up by whirlwind in to heaven(2 ki 2:10).he will become again to earth and martyred at the end of the world just like Enoch and Elijah.(Rev 11:4-13)
