Nick was genuinely surprised and amazed by Emily's degree while Britt scoffed and rolled her eyes with surprised how Emily would have had a degree.
Nick called her stupid and was shocked because he generally didn't know Emily had achieve so much.

as someone who graduated in civil engineering.....i so wish i just took an easier route sometimes..its not a bad career, it has enjoyably moments and its not an overbearing workload,..but the reward definitely doesnt feel like it matche the years of college effort, loans, etc..making less than 6 figures a year and people out here making that and more just by finessing systems....emily did the smart move

Well din't your teachers at least one told you that engineers are not rich people lol. They get engineering paychecks but they are decent. If you want money go into the business school you deal with money which means you get more 💰. That is why one of my professors told us if you here in electrical engineer for the money just change careers like business or something else.

@@drewk3646 i cannot speak for how it is in the US, i live in Norway. but here, alot of people have several degrees that aren't necessarily related to each other, and many people have degrees that they dont use.
and to be fair, it's healthier to have people working that actually like their work. she is way happier as a streamer than she was in her previous job, and she probably pays alot more in taxes as well, so it benefits either way.
but as i said, i don't know if the american education system is different than the nordics.
