Hate coastal highway for this very reason -- every time you try to reach your base in garage, you're met with at least half a million of wolves + extra bear for free xD
I usually try to have two bases in each region. In coastal highway it's the quonset and the fishing camp that have workbenches and I try to base around where the workbenches are.
They need to make more games where there is no music. Just the eery ambiance of the environment builds so much more tension and is much more immersive.
I love the Quonset Garage area but man it's really unassumingly dangerous. I was breaking down the pallets outside and it turned to dark by the time the action was done, and then there was a bear outside and it was chasing me and I had to fumble around in absolute darkness. Fortunately I made it back inside though but it really is just peaceful and then suddenly dangerous out of nowhere!
Bah, you are safe right out front behind the gas pumps like a front porch, and there is a car right out back to blow off cabin fever. All the meat you could ever want shows up and asks you to kill it.
Every day I open this platform, I'm met with the videos of different creators living through the same experience I had, literally the previous night's gaming. And this one is the most accurate to mine 😄 They were ganging up on me exactly like this. So I took the exact same escape 😆 Found the broth and the fresh rabbit in the kitchen, and just cooked a rabbit stew and waited them out. The difference is you're doing it in interloper while I was holding my breath in voyager 💀
The garage always seemed too hostile for a base. I like the fishing hut by the fishing cabins. Outdoor workbench can be iffy but its fun living in the hut and fishing, use the cabins if its too cold.
Only thing missing was the bear that comes through when you least expect it, I came out of the Quonset hut once and ran right into him, good thing first aid was a very short walk away.
Makes for a great base. Pop a couple Wolves. Camp fire right outside, grill up some wolf meat. At level 5 cooking, as long as it's been cooked you won't get sick no matter the condition
I play on stalker and theres usually like 5 wolves that stalk the garage so its kinda hard to do that. maybe once i get enough arrows i can do that but i usually just end up making pleasant valley farmhouse my main base long term anyways. love that 6 slot cooking stove :)@@CB-sv2bm
@@Zack98CA I had the same idea, the game had other ideas. It decided to spawn after I made camp in the farmstead 10 wolves. Make the surrounding areas infested as well It's not even day 30 year I've killed 28 of them now.
That's why you assert dominance and clap all 3 sets of wolf cheeks before you setup base there, idk maybe its just me but I go out of my way to find them and eradicate them as soon as possible. Also you didnt check under the hood for a battery my man. Need that lead to send down range into wolf asses.

And a moose for good measure.

You mean, You get to your base and six wolves, three bears, and a moose show up to ask you to eat them.

DayZ. One of the best!
Long dark has music but it likes to drop unnecessarily hard when you’re in a dark place or storm
you can turn the music down, I have it off and all I hear is the noise from my surroundings

That's the worst feeling you can have when you realize you're being chased

bro almost got Got.
You can open the sunvisor?!😦
Don't be rude go out say hi
Time to take a nap.
Umm what!!! Been playing the game since it came out.Never knew you can open the sun visor 😮
If you have a lit torch or flare just drop it on the floor and aim a weapon at the wolfs and they will run away
They are waiting to oil yourself💀☠️

It's not too bad once you stop to hunt them. Plus it's safer to use the indoor workbench without dealing with bears.

Three bears. There are up to three different bear spawns that can visit you.
pop a flare, and head inside, it'll keep the wolves at bay
Yeah, wolves really love Quonset garage for some reason. I always see them hanging around there.

This game seems so interesting. Was definitely intense when the wolves showed up 😅
Oh yeah! It's definitely my favorite game! Things will definitely escalate quickly! Damn corner bears are my nemis! Heartattack inducing every time!

Why didn’t you just into the garage?
1. I already looted the garage
2. Last time I went out of a car with wolves near it they jumped me...
your brightness is a little too bright
