- Where should we go for Part 2?? Let me know in the comments.
In this episode, Swanson and I set out about town searching for the best pizza in Denver. We visit Blue Pan in Congress Park, Ian's downtown, and Redeemer in RiNo, for three decidedly unique and delicious experiences.

As a native Michigander, Blue Pan makes Detroit style pizza better than anyone in Michigan. So amazing
Man, that’s actually pretty wild. How often is the out-of-state version better than what’s made at the mothership?? Kudos to them!
Loved this. Can’t wait to try me some Redeemer Pizza!!!!
Get some!
That last place wasn't a hybrid, it was just basic Italian Pizza...
Great video!
Thank you, fellow Sam!
Alright I'll be that guy. There's no such thing as fiber being digested by the sourdough.
Osteria Marco.... cheese and meats cured in house :(
Just had it over the weekend. Can confirm deliciousness.
Check out Barchetta in Boulder. You won't be disappointed
Also, Beau jo's is not in the top 50
Agreed on Beaujo’s! They do have good…honey, I guess?
Will check it out next time I’m in Boulder. I’m due for a trip.
Been liking the Pizzeria Lui. Check it.
I wish they hadn't appropriated Buddy's pizza in Detroit and then started calling it 'Detroit style'. Buddy's Pizza is a unique institution of its own, and no one makes anything comparable to it, so 'Detroit style' is something that was completely made up to pretend like Buddy's wasn't being copycatted. Buddy's Pizza originated in the late 40's in the largely Polish area of Detroit, and, not surprisingly, was influenced by Polish cooking, which is part of what makes it unique. I don't know what Blue Pan's pizza actually tastes like, but if it's anything like Pizza Hut's disgraceful rip-off, I definitely wouldn't be happy with it. What makes Buddy's pizza good is its simplicity, and its baked cheese, crispy edges, plus a sauce that is actually Polish-inspired. But the myth of the Detroit-style pizza is something that was invented by corporate America. To put things into perspective, the most famous pizza to come out of Detroit is actually Little Caesar's, and everyone knows how bad that tastes...but that is nothing like the original Buddy's Pizza (which today has over 10 restaurants in the Detroit area). If you are ever in Detroit, that's the only place you should go for this style of pizza.
It’s just pizza man, relax
@joelupher5643 no, it's not just pizza, it's local culture. It might not matter to you, but it's part of who I am
@@billbirkett7166 that’s goofy as fuck dude😂
@@RazCallahan69 well fuck your local culture. Wherever it may be. And your local sports team
The true Colorado original pizza......Beau jo's. Best pizza ever.
Way over priced at Beau Jo’s.
