Apparatus of Gond is super underrated. Good call! I hope the Manticore Runic Aura gets buffed. I have a few but the group buff is rather underwhelming right now. Might be strong in Mod 20. It is definitely weird that the mounts with the best equip powers and combat powers have some of the worst insignia bonuses. You essentially have to make a decision between utility or stat boosting, unless you got money to burn. ;) Black Ice Warhorse has Dominant Force and I can confirm firsthand that it drops in Summer Festival. Go crazy with them Sahha Balls, boys. Damn... that seems so far away now. Gilded Spider.. always forget about that one. Good value there. Thanks Aragorn.. you just fed my mount collection addiction further. LOL
@@GastNdorf One of the Apparatus had Quick Recovery for AP gain. That may be a thing again. Seems like buff/debuff is on the rise but high utility will be moreso, especially for budget players and support, IMHO
For the hp mount equip power you can buy it from zen market and it will be account unlocked, it cost 1,5k zen but with coupons you can reduce it to 750
The grizzly bear that I mention can be cheaper to upgrade than buying the triceratops, as I mention. Or yes, you can get the armored besr from the zen market, account widem
750 would be 50%, 30% is 1050, unless you talk about jubilee coupons but not everyone still have them around and particularly people who would need this mount
I'll summarize without watching the video The commander and war painted rex mounts The Swarm The legendary tensers floating disc The Armored Bulette The Armored Griffon A power mount And a HP mount Those are the ones you want to put to mythic for either their mount power, or their stat bonus

HP stacking is a must. But don't forget damage mitigation. Awareness will be huge as trial bosses always have combat advantage. I imagine the next two will be Deflect then Crit Avoidance. Rainer has a nice chart showing the returns on stat points in defense stats. Awareness hands-down provided the best ROI
If you don't mind spending some zen on a mount, the purp version of Trained Grizzly has Stalwart and Tunnel Vision and comes as an account wide unlock.
I think next mod we might see a risk in Rust Monster, Shadow Demon, and a few others. Purely speculation but with the much lower caps, it will be good to have better utility.
Hey, I know it's not specifically mounts and you might have answered it elsewhere, but as a quite new player (Since August), what would be worthwhile saving up to upgrade? Currently all my gear is from avernus (Other than staff of flowers), all enchantments/runestones rank 9. Augment companion at lvl 40. Mixed bags of mounts. IL is just under 24k :) Playing a paladin justicar.

What does he mean the combat power stacks? You can only have one combat power equipped, right? So if i have a mount that gives 10% more damage and another mount in my stable that has the same combat power. Does that mean when i cast the combat power i will do 20% more damage?
Yeah, what I mean, is like in a trial before we start we usually assing ppl to use these specific mounts, then when we call artifacts everyone ususes them and we get massive damage buff for that 10s, so everyone uses their dailies and encounters, dealing tons of damage.
What do you think about the deep deepcrow mount? I got it from a lockbox and was by far best mount I had so I kept it. Now it's still my best lol should I up it to mythic?
The one you select is active. But when you are in a party, you can all use different ones at the same time and those stack, but the same ones don't stack.
Lol as a new player the cost of aquiring all these mounts and upgrading them to mythic and everything else needed is so astronomical im considering quitting despite having already dropped 300 into this game
Any chance you know when they will install the major change over in January. Besides pick one of the 31 days. They do like to make updates on Tuesday or Thursday. I feel like it may be best to see how everything changes over before doing too too much.
@@Aragon- It could be towards the end of January though it all feels like the sooner the better. If you pick 5 of the mounts with 2 universal slots and 1 of each of the 5 types of insignia's, that can cover the gambit of anything you want. Then you are picking mounts for their abilities and what role you take on.
I'd anticipate that 3000 magnitude getting nerfed in the future, so anyone working on upgrading mounts, I'd save that one for last for now. Thanks for being honest about it not being worth it. I'm end game i guess and I'm pretty much skipping the mythic mount and collar nonsense. Same thing for mythic companions. It's all a hypocritical money pit. They essentially took away class buff/debuffing and transferred it to new mount concepts - and a very expensive concept at that. I told Mr. Whiteside, until they make an account wide mount and companion stable I'm not partaking in such foolery. I play all eight classes, I'll never upgrade essentially the same mounts 8 times...hell no. They need to lower the costs on mounts and collars and provide more and cheaper ways to get them. Last tip I can give folks, don't buy account mounts on the auction house, they have been and will continue to be in packs on sale in the zen store for a way cheaper price. Remember, people buy them from the zen store to jack up the prices on the auction house for a profit. So save that zen!
Yep, some good points you've made. All what you see in the video is just me on the preview server, there's no way I'm spending that much on the mounts. It's just not currently needed. I can complete zariel master just fine with my 36% bolster, got no mythics. So yeah, until they come out with harder content that I may need mythic mounts for, I won't be upgrading them.

mount upgrade tokens are obtained freely through chests at the end of level 80 dungeons skirmishes , and trials, then also from the tradebar store, auction house and zen market.
I have gilder spider, I use dominant force, but the spider isnt in my 5 stable slots as I dont care for the mount insignia bonus it offers. If I upgrade the spider to leg/mythic but dont actually put the spider iin one of the 5 stable slots will I still get the upgrade buff to dominant force equipped even though the spider isnt in my stable slots. Also I know mount insignia bonuses stack up to 2-3, but from what you're saying in this vid the mount equip powers can stack too if the mounts that share the equip power ARE all in your stable slots.. or am i wrong, as that seem way to op if it was lol. Sorry I'm still wrapping head around this game months later. Going to rewatch this vid a few times I think.. Edit: I know I'm way off in my second question lol
Yup, if you just have the spider on mythic in your stable and not in any slot, it will still give you the full benefit of the dominant force, however to get it fully maxed you'll need to upgrade that bolster by just having more mythic mounts. Yes the insignia bonuses stack up to 3 times, but it's effect reduces by 50% for each additional bonus you are of the same type. And no, having multiple of the same equip powers, like dominant force, won't make a difference, it will just prioritize the one with the highest quality
Seriously wondering, how does one obtain the Astral Diamonds to get yourself 10 mythic mounts and 10 mythic companions without spending over a year grinding for small amounts or buying zen? Let alone 5 mythic collars ..
the best way is through VIP and the daily enchanting key, save em up, then open the newer lockboxes to get tons of tradebars which you spend on a discount to buy upgrade tokens for mounts and companions
Neverwinter. =o) For a change of pace, Black Desert is fun at times. Very PvP and farm/grind heavy. If you love farming mobs all day for drops and working the marketplace, its perfect. It's also a pretty stable game gear-wise. Some of the oldest endgame gear is still BIS.. they just keep raising the quality levels to help people keep up. Not a fan of their upgrade/enhancement system but... its there.

Lets say i have 22k zen and i use it all to buy mount upgrade token boxes(each give 75 token) will i have enough to upgrade 6 from rare to mythic? I have divine wings mythic lion legendery and commander tyrannosaur legendery and purple drake. Im planing to buy 22k zen and dragonborn race^-^
22k zen = 55 mount upgrade packs, = 4125 mount upgrade tokens. to get from rare to mythic, = 150+200 = 350, then 6 of em, x6 = 2100 tokens needed so you only need to get (2100/75=) 28 mount upgrade packs at 400 zen each, totaling to 11,200 Zen

If your a new dps, buy the apparatus of gond. It gives Tunnel vision bonus and and power. At mythic thats a 2k magnitude hit and 10k power. 👍

Apparatus is super good. It drops during some events so def farm them when they hit. Wonders of Gond is the big one. I always get a few then.
I like the arcane whirlwind combat power to blow enemies off cliffs.

Do you have all the passive companion powers that give Hp, like the energon or the vanguard of the citadel, or iron golem etc.

Zen purchased mounts and companions are also account unlocks so if you run multiple toons it is a way better deal!

What I was reffering to was that if a few ppl in yor party have these combat powers and use them at once, you can get the effects stacked up.
