dw it doesn't matter too much; he doesn't gain much thru it cuz top 16 (top 12 + 4 last chance qualifier winners) go into a reset bracket to qualify for the 1 Oceania spot; im 99% sure the bracket is reset to base but correct me if im wrong

@@ERNZSTO he made it to the regional finals tournament so Oceania's top 16 players will play in a tournament offline for the chance to play in the world tour tourney, Oceania only gets to send 1 person so he needs to win that to advance.

Seeing that happen to RaZe hurts my soul. That has to be the worst feeling in the world. Knowing you're the better player, knowing you've won the matchup, and then having it snatched away at the last moment because of something completely out of your control.

When poppt talked about his mom being supportive of him doing tournaments I just remembered when I was trying to do a fortnite tournament (I know fortnite is cringe but I enjoy the game) my sister heard me talk about it and said I shouldn't even try since I would lose even if I tried my hardest and that killed my spirit but it was one of my best tournaments I played in.

Hey Poppt! There's this really cool thing called a power line adapter that can send ethernet through the wiring in your house. Plug it in next to the modem and another one by your computer, and you only need two short cables instead of a 50 foot running through your house. My brother used this because he had the same issue with a stupid long cable. If that's the only reason you don't use a lan adapter, you might want to look into this since it can be a convenient way to get ethernet to your setup.

I’m not really aware of what the Beer Bug situation is like in Western Australia, but I hope you’ll be able to participate in an in-person Smash tournament sometime soon! Trying to compete in an online tournament with Australian connections on top of an already disappointing net code from Nintendo is just not going to allow people to compete at their very best.
