Rudeus's Worst Mistake - Mushoku Tensei [Edit/AMV]

- Hello everyone,
There is not a lot of interesting animes coming out this season other then a select few and Mushoku Tensei is one of them. Season 2 of Jobless Reincarnation released and that got me the inspiration to do an edit about it. While the AMV is not about Season 2, its instead about the best part of the whole anime, Orsted vs Rudeus. Him engaging the conversation with Orsted is probably the biggest mistake he made until that point, and the fight itself was actually insane and animation went nuts. Anyway there is going to be JJK and variety content in the near future together with and editing contest.

@zefuvThe Roxy one or the Paul one? Either way it feels less like a mistake and more like just a string of unfortunate events.
Might not get a lot of views because of the JJK hype right now but I am really satisfied with this edit, and that is all that matters.
This was very good, but just a suggestion try to not have action clips shake like that, keep it to minimum

Very reasonable and valid point. I though it would have been a bit bare bones whitout the shakes but you are right, the shake did not match the vibe of the edit. I will be sure to take note of that when doing another edit similar to this.

A little different from the novels actually...
Rudeus doesn't ask about the teleport incident at all..
he just asks if/ how Oersted knows Eris and Ruijerd
Oersted doesn't know Rudeus, gets curious and then asks him if he knows Hitogami
Thats interesting. But I think that asking about the teleportation incident makes more sense in this scenario, and adds tension.

Once the anime catches up to a certain point, this very event becomes the most fortunate meeting between them.
I've heard a lot of praise for turning point 4 so I hope it lives up the hype.
@@Collosus I can say that it'll be season 3 in general. If they'll take a bit of a longer break compared to the gap between S1 and S2, I think anybody can somehow guess why. Since it's come to this point in the anime, only tip I can give is to breeze thru each anime episode and compare it to the LN since there's like 30-40% stuff either changed or skipped so far and LN gives more context/better view on certain events(just like S2E23). S1 is Vol. 1-6 and S2 is 7-12 for some who'll be wondering.
I actually watch someone that recaps what happens in the light novel, and it actually helped with a lot of the world building and other details. As for the third season taking longer, I think that's actually a good thing since it allowes the team to make season 3 the best they can without worrying about deadlines.

i don't understand why Rudeus stopped him and asked about God. Please explain. Someone, please.
Because up until that point Orsted was not hostile towards Rudi so he thought that maybe he could ask Orsted about the Man God since they both are Deities basically.

context?
Orsted (the one who kills the main character) is the Dragon God and has two traits. 1. He has a curse that makes everyone afraid of him (from this world) and 2. He hates the Man God which is the person who reincarnated the main character in this world. Rudeus (MC) started a conversation AFTER Orsted wanted to leave, which made Orsted suspicious because the curse should make him afraid of him if he was from this world. The more Rudeus spoke the more Orsted grew angry and impatient and when he asked if Rudeus knew the Man God, the MC said yes which is what lead to this.

the fact that if rudeus didnt provoke orsted there that the events in the anime would be soooooo much different.
so first off, eris wouldnt have left, in the LN volume 6 theres basically an Eris POV of her explaining why she left and its so heartbreaking (you need to read it)
rudeus wouldnt have learned disturb magic, and since he wouldve kept travelling with eris he probably would have headed straight to zenith.
oh and most importantly we would have skipped the entire ED arc.
At the same time Rudy wouldn't reunite with Sylphyette and also wouldn't make as many connections as he did. Nanahoshis research will also come to a grinding halt which would lead to her downward spiral just as we saw in the anime, but this time, no one would help her. Makes you acknowledge the impact Rudy has on so many people.
