I Agree with you. Only for knowledge youtube is best. But for other things like networking, outside world exposure, certifications, mentorship, referrals and much more we can consider offline courses for job seekers. If you are already in job, Knowledge is enough for getting promotion if you apply it in work and switch company with that experience. But most people are like doing couses outside and gaining knowledge from youtube and gaining the placement guidance from high paid courses. For college students with campus placement there is no problem. Before enrolling for any high paid course course, Please consider the money is mainly for placement oppurtunities. If you can get the placement oppurtunities from anywhere else or if you believe in yourself that you can get the job by your own, then we can avoid these high paid courses. In the current world knowledge is everywhere for free, but if someone think need guidance and transform faster and one step better than others, they should willing to pay something. Nowadays there are many paid courses, they are giving placement oppurtunities to stand out from the crowd, but that is also common now,. So, people should avoid overthinking and start something either self-learn or guided approach😉
