It wasn't a matter of finding footage. It exists. It's a matter of copyright. What was used was all we could get at the time and have permission to use.

BTW,I heard that fans tried to saw the wing off the Beatles' plane...for a souvenir....

A friend of mine was at the site of the Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash and said before the scene was cleared someone actually ran off with the nose cone w/the band's logo!
