so before anyone does this here is a heads up, i would suggest watching a proper chinning guide before watching this video to get a better idea of whats going on. Also know you need 80 prayer if you're combining the bone crusher with dragonbone to create that new bonecrusher necklace. As well as the path to that cave will be different for everyone in zuks cave. IMPORTANT don't bring all your chins if you DIE you will LOSE them on death i learnt the hard with and lost 30m worth of chins. Have fun and good luck to anyone jumping into this video blind.

Also, if you die its kept as an untradeable so you dont another light source or tinderbox to return to grab your loot. I dc on mobile a lot so I know.

Not even Runscape could survive that many Chins, exploding at once.
Iâm super happy they combined them and removed the time delays and even buffed the necklace. The Dragoncrusher necklace was one of my long term goals when I discovered it and I finally got it. I think itâs great, especially since I canât afford a Necklace of anguish for my range set up.
(I calculated which method is most cost efficient. The calculation is a approximation and assumes the xp/h at level 70 all the way until 99. Also assumes the xp goal to 99 is 12 million total which also is wrong. Did this out of curiosity)
Cost grey chin an hour: 2 million
Time to reach 99: 24 Hours
= 48 millioner og 24 Hours
= 48 mill + (24*800 000) = 48 + 20 = 68 million
Why do I multiplicate the amount of time to 800k? To find out the time/money you have lost doing this activity. The same applies to black chins.
Cost black chin per hour: 6 mill
Time to reach 99: 16 Hours
= 16 * 6 = 94 Million GP
= 94 million + (15,7*800 000) = 107 million
Cost difference:
107 - 68 = 39 million
You save approx 8 hours by chinning with black chins
To be able to make up for this you should;
39 million/8 = 4,8 million an hour
Black chins are only worth it if you are able to make over approx 5 million gp an hour. The calculation is not exact.
Conclusion;
- Black chins are not worth it
yet people will tell you that black chins ARE worth it, LMAO, hard facts though, is red worth it over grey though?
@@sylvesterpedersen171 You can easily afk 1m/h money on an alt while playing your main essentially getting free money without wasting any time. So black chins are the best assuming you use alts

You can now combine the dragonbone necklace with the bonecrusher using a hydra tail which is only about 100k

Canât do this in MM1 tunnels, the skeletons wonât spawn if their bones are buried.
A change was made in April 2021. The necklace now only requires 70 prayer.
can also combine a hydra tail with bone crusher and dragone bone necklace to make a bone crusher necklace to save an inv slot

I used this method before this video and done it for a great time, I put dragon bone necklace below average when it comes to exp with range and below exp when it comes to magic. However, the bone necklace makes bursting/chining literally the most afkable thing in the world and its strongly unadvise to bring such multiple prayer bonuses. I found just using the ammy alone is good enough as you kill the monkeys fast enough to get that 1 prayer point to return, so no need for that extra bonus in prayer.
You can now make bonecrusher necklace with 3 items :
Hydra tail
Dragonbone necklace
Bonecrusher
Saving you one space in the inventory to use.

At 89 range, full elite void, bis others, rigour and ranging pots im barely hitting 600k an hour. Yes I am stacking them on the wall as well! Help!!!
Edit: figured it out!!! You HAVE to use medium fuse. Itâs quicker and gets more kills
What is a medium fuse?
@@osamaabuabed6215 itâs the style of attack the chin uses. So where you would pick aggressive, accurate, defensive or balanced there you will see fuse settings.
If you wait for two hits (instead of one, like theo) before moving around the corner, you don't need more than one stamina pot for emergencies

Idk probably, but I still got 600k xp/h with 95+ ranged. AND I didn't use any staminas, so...

1: take assembler, range cape is garbo (take ardy cape if you dont have assembler) 2: take aguish not dragonbone, you dont lose any xp picking up ppots and anguish helps you hit more
I brought the range skillcape for prayer bonus, assembler probably does boost overall XP rate a bit
whats the point in bringing prayer bonus with the necklace tho, and ardy cape is more pray bonus
update 2022, you can incrase xp/hr using crystal armor...pfm stops it from degrading since you arent taking dmg and it gives 30% accuracy instead of only 10%

even better if u use 2 accounts, one in gracefull and your main who chins just stand still, once the unaggro your other account you can still fix the lures on the other account, so u lose no ticks, its also alot more relaxing

Got a d bone necklace from cork the other day and held onto it encase it went up. Well thanks for the advertisement... but Jagex needs to make it like 70prayer to wear or something
kr3wGLD13579 from 70 to 80 prayer is just 15M, thatâs really not a lot, considering 80 prayer is kind of the max level you need. Everything above is just going to make your prayer pots restore a bit more points, thatâs all. Sooo yeah really not that expensive tbh.

I just pick up the 1 dose ppots and drink those while keeping my anguish on.
The Bonecrusher necklace is good to keep in my Inventory, however, for the Prayer XP :)

This is still the best defense xp in the game by far.
best hitpoints exp too & 30k pray an hour. but in all honesty 80 prayer is easy af & without chinning 99 range is waaay longer

Yes you can, you can also burst ankous in the catacombs of kourend with a bone crusher for unlimited pray points

Salve doesn't work on the monkeys, and you get more xp because you aren't losing ticks picking up potions
+Charlie Powlett still less xp per chin when using dragonbone neckless instead of anguish.. and chins are expensive as hell
M vdp yeah it'll be less XP per chin, but you only use the dragon one necklace for a few seconds every few minutes. You can also wear better range gear VS prayer gear and at lower levels, hit 0's less. Depends though, I don't think I hit a single 0 on the target when I chinned although I was level 95+
So basically I think the necklace is good if you're lazy af and have lots of money because you could theoretically AFK for 10 minutes at a time or whatever the Agro timer is

If you can manage that kind of clicking consistantly, it really isn't that hard to pick up 2 doses of p pots without needing the necklace.

When I chinned to 98 range I literally didn't even think to bring my bone crusher. I'm so angry. At least I have a cheap way to get prayer exp.

Where do you get these xp rates from. Iâm 97 range with red chins, elite void, pegs, anguish, buckler, rigour. And the max xp per hour in just range hasnât gone past 550k. Nowhere near 720k which is whatâs listed for that lvl

path is different for everyone, just go the other way lmao, you reach the same checkpoints (marked with a fire)

forget about chinning or bursting, some fuckhead always comes in and crashes you after about 30 minutes nowadays.
died on my first run (ironman) and apparently you loose all chins when you die, no refund at all. They were not in the gravestone, and death didn't have them... there goes 500 chins down the drain...

PSA: Don't use grand seed pod. It costs 150k each. Use royal seed pod if you have it unlocked, otherwise just use another teleportation method

10 minutes, if you use runelite then there is a plugin named "NPC aggression timer" you can choose to let it display the time until the NPC is unaggro, and also where you have to run to in order to get them aggro again

First of all, the dragonbone necklace is totally unnecessary. Picking up prayer potions is easy, they drop way more than needed and you don't lose any xp if you pick them up between the hits. It's not hard work at all. It's probably faster xp as well since you can constantly wear your anguish/fury.
Secondly, you could have mentioned what fuse is used for chinning. I was using short for a long time, when you are supposed to use medium. My fault for not looking it up properly, but you still could have mentioned it...
Thirdly, you don't need any stamina potions. Idk why the hell you would bring like 12 of them, you simply don't need them. You don't need to run all the time as well. When you have all the 30 monkeys (or whatever number it is) stacked up, you don't have to move, you can just kill them for a while before you need to stack them again. You might wanna bring an explorers ring, because every 10 minutes or so you need to run away to reset the aggro. Or just bring 2-4 stamina potions. But you will not need 12.

88 agility and im on attempt 37 trying to cross the first obstacle. there must be something im doing wrong. A more descriptive walkthrough would be more useful than just blocking the screen with a map and talking. just some constructive criticism. you and every other yter have the same problem. For a walkthrough you should cover all bases. you may have done it 500 times but try and understand people are watching your videos to LEARN.
how do you reset aggro most efficiently?
runelite has a NPC aggression timer. It also shows an outline on the floor where you need to run.
