I’m just glad that Nujabes and Uyama Hiroto are finally getting more recognition because of manga like Vagabond and Vinland saga. These soul nourishing tracks need to be spread across the world
whenever they collaborated on a track you can instantly feel/hear their friendship. Glad to hear them being recognized more.

Uyama Hiroto is such a legend, he needs more recognition
Life is insane:
For *18* years of my life I thought I could never be worthy of love nor could it ever be possible for someone to actually be attracted to me.
*One* year ago I started getting into dating after going to therapy and approached it with a devil may care attitude (my thought process was basically if I can never be loved, why not give it my best shot to learn how to love? the end result will be as certian as death and taxes so why worry about what happens along the journey and just try to have a little fun along the way?)
*Three days ago* I had an absolute magical date with a girl who held me close and who kissed me and actually made out with for the first time ever, because she genuinely liked me and found me attractive.
That same night she asked if I could come over to her place in two days. I said yes.
Two days later on the morning of when I was just about to leave to go to her house I checked my phone and saw a text message from her saying she felt like I was really developing deep feelings for her, and that she didn't feel the same way.
On that same day last night, two other girls that I'm texting said "Good night ♥" and that basically I lifted their sprites by being a source of comfort in this stressful world.

I am happy.
You might ask why? I was rejected by someone I had gone so far with, and the task at a glance seems so Sisyphean.
Nevertheless, I am happy. I am happy because one year ago I thought I could never be loved. I was incapable of even mustering the courage to say "hello" to someone.
Now, I am talking to multiple people at once. I've gone on more dates in a year then the old me thought I'd get in a lifetime. I've met so many wonderful people, had so many incredible experiences, and each time learned something new about this task set before me and each time learned something new about myself. And the best part of all? It keeps happening! More people, more incredible experiences, more insight into myself. All these things I thought impossible yet it keeps happening with every I take.
It's a long life my friends.
If you struggle as I do with loving yourself know this:
there is more on heaven and earth than dreamt of in your imagination. This includes the awful parts you imagine about yourself.
Why not go out and take that fist step into the unknown, and see for yourself if some of those better dreams are real?
Well, have you found someone or are you still just channeling through dates?
Actually of about three months ago I did find someone :)
They're incredibly sweet and caring, and it's crazy to me that I'm even living the life that I am though.
I will say though that there was about a 50/50 shot of me not getting over my own self loathing and insecurities and turning her down out of a feeling of not being "ready yet" (whatever the heck that really means). After a week of indecision though I swallowed my fears and decided I could either turn her down and keep endlessly searching for the moment when I'm "Ready yet" or I could choose the love I knew was already right there in front of me, just waiting for me to take a chance on them.
and so I took that chance.
I couldn't have done it without overcoming my fears and self hatred first (at least enough to just say "yes I'd love to be your boyfriend!") . but I'm so happy I did. :)
I mean sure I still have bad days or feelings of doubt. but I've got someone by my side now to weather such storms and make the bright days even brighter.
Take heart my friend. Life is crazy.

@@charlieterry8506 even in the relationship, it takes time to love yourself and return the love to your partner. Not every day will be consistent, but you’ll learn a lot if you stick it out

Its Japanese Hip Hop bro, Uyama worked closely with Nujabes (who was the main guy who pioneered this version of Hip Hop)
edit: Uyama likes to add his own spin to his songs, so if you like his music you will definitely love his album Freeform Jazz
It's also known as lofi. Hip-hop beats thrown over jazz or piano tracks.
@dominickpalumbo5745 yeah I've been meaning to get into a serious convo about that the original stuff that nujabes and uyama produce were hip hop music but from my understanding of listening to lofi music it doesn't sound like hip hop at all, lofi hip-hop and chillhop sounds more like hip hop to me
I know Nujabes was the father of lofi but his style wasn't lofi, I preferably don't like lofi, always sounds depressing to me, some songs from it are good but the genre in general just don't have that hip hop nature, that's why I like chillhop and lofi hip hop more
