One of the most beautiful places on earth , I miss you Denver Colorado
I'm originally from Denver and I've enjoyed walking around Downtown Denver with you from my apt in Tulsa Oklahoma. Thanks for the memories.
Just spent 5 days here in downtown very well organized walkable love how you can take the train from union station to the airport deff will come back 👍
It would be a whole lot better if the train just came to the airport! Ridiculous to have to pay for a 39-minute trip to connect to anywhere from DIA.
@@atlasking6110 yea its a little pricy $10.50 Seattle its about $3 dollars from the airport to downtown
There’s something so cool and unique about the way you’ve filmed this. Just looking at people being people......in Denver lol.
I agree. I enjoy a walking video like this (minus the sound of sniffles!) much more than the driving videos. You really get a much more up close and personal view of the city and its people.
Went to college at DU and enjoyed my time in Denver. Greetings from Bogota Colombia!!!
People are gonna see this video in 50 years and think about it like how we do when we see videos from the 50s and 60s
You are right! I think I should do this video over the years and see how things change.
No need to wait 50 years. Now that the entire USA is a ghost country because of coronavirus this already looks different
@@syn16 I literally have also been going up to Denver to film the city for future generations to see.
I really think Denver is sometimes underrated compared to other cities.
Mauricio Marioni I totally agree. My mom’s exchange-student-sister lives in Denver and we visited her. Such a great city! Next time we’re going to Colorado, we’re going wintertime for skiing and snowboarding ❄️
On my way from Australia. Looking so much forward to staying in Denver this Fall. I noticed in your vid, that the city looks very clean. Great video, thanks.
Paul Bland Very clean & overall a safe city! Have a fantastic trip and can’t wait for you to visit our amazing state :)
@@andrewdewey5287 Thans Andrew. I just subscribe to this channel, I'll post my adventure. We hope to have some snow about, as we live in the tropics. It won't be Christmas, but will make it an early one. Cheers mate.
How odd is it that I live in Denver and enjoy this video so much. When i'm walking around, particularly among all the new buildings around Union Station, I'm so intent on watching where I'm going, I forget to pause and look around. Your video lets me do that! :)
Came from denver Friday after 5 days denver is beautiful and peaceful trust me you will love it one last thing is cheap
Denver looks amazing!!....and very clean!
Was there in October -17 with a bunch of people from Sweden! Glad to see this :-)
Thank you for posting this. I sure miss Denver and Colorado -- been away now for 15 years -- used to live at Brooks Towers, one block from the 16th Street Mall. Oh how I'd love to return. I like that you didn't ruin your video with horrible music, and we get to hear as well as see the sights and sounds of current downtown Denver.
Thanks for watching and for your feedback! I think no music / extra sounds is the best way to feel the "walk" part of the video.
I so agree with you. Thank you! Watching your video simply made my day -- it was almost like actually being there!
Fantastic video! Heading to Denver soon. My first time 😊.
Thanks for watching and the feedback. Hope you have a great time in Denver!
Beautiful city and great video, I’ll be there some day.
Great video..I feel like I am there..also, after having lived in Denver for almost 2 years, I can attest this video is 100 percent accurate in terms of how denver looks and feels :)
I'll be in Denver on March 30th. Can't wait to walk around downtown. I'm so excited. Greetings from Ecuador
Hello from County Kerry in the Republic of Ireland 🇮🇪 Ohh we are far way 🇮🇪🙋♀️
Just found this video. Great job in showing the mall, and how it can be pretty. Live SW of Denver, and have spent a good amount of time here. It is a fun mall to walk, especially at night. Thanks for sharing such a great video.
Woooooooooww i wanna be there :( please take me with you !!
I watched this and i feel that i am walking there right now! Everything is nice !!!
Sorry for my english
Great video and fantastic job. As a city, well done, Denver! I’m jealously but pleasantly surprised! Hope to visit someday.
Thanks for uploading this! I lived in Denver from 2005-2006 and I remember the big Virgin store, that’s where I discovered Gorillaz because they were promoting it like crazy in their listening stations haha I got my kswiss valentine edition shoes there, in which the kswiss logo could be changed from pink to red, I remember I bought my first drawstring backpack from the Nike store, going into Walgreens in the middle of December, to get my j-14 magazine. So much fun I miss being 13 💔 I would like to visit back one day.
My City and State, Native of Denver for 55 Years😊
I miss this place, stayed there for a couple of years before I had to move back to my home country ☹️☹️☹️💎
Thanks for watching. Glad you got to see it again, this time online. Good Luck!
I miss Denver!!!
Such a beautifil city seems the people there really love to walk compared to my hometown. I plan to go there as one of my vacation destination. Greetings from Malaysia.
Greetings Malaysia from Denver Colorado. It is beautiful here but I am unfortunately about to leave 🥺
I miss Denver so so much 🥺😔
I love the fluidity of the video capture while walking. How did you do that?
Thanks for watching, Mike. I use a camera gimbal which helps steady the video. It is not perfect but still helps a lit and makes the video watchable given all of the walking and movements that I do
I love your video so much !
I grew up in Denver and worked for many years in downtown and Lodo.
Wow, the changes. i remember when we would go to eat at Woolworths, they had two restaurants, and in the the JCpenny bldg, or was it Joslin's there was a cafeteria on the top floor
There was also The Denver and the May D&F.
one of the jobs i worked at was in the kitchen of The Old Spaghetti Factory
I don't live there any more, but i dream of moving back ... someday
Thanks for watching and your comment! Yes, the city has changed a lot! Lodo area is getting built up with many high-rise condos, and office buildings.
Man I used to live in denver with my sister and there friends now I'm in hawaii but planning to back in Denver soon its really beautiful city that keeps you going and exploring
Hawaii sounds like a great place to be at as well! When you visit it again, if you have not been here in a while, you will see how much it has changed over the last several years.
🙏🏻👍for posting I would really want to visit here 🇮🇪🙋♀️
Love that music
Tnx for the video. Will be there in October 2019. Very helpful being that it will be our first visit. 👍🏽 💯
How’s the weather during this time?
Glad you liked the video. Enjoy your time when you are in Colorado. Weather is always unpredictable but normally October should be a great time (snow possible starting in Sept) and very nice fall colors in the Mountains Late Sept early October. High mountain roads / passes will be closed early Sept due to snow in higher elevations on the mountains.
I love Denver!
what camera is this? i like the stabilization on this video.. very smooth
Bro how can it be soo frkn clean? I live in Houston and I wish people can be civilized like this. It just shows
It used to be like that, Now it's flooding with Cali People and they're messing up the streets with Trash and there Lingos and sht its horrible.
Growing up in the 60's and 70's we cruised down 16th St. in our 409 Chevys and 426 Hemi Plymouths and delt with Buster Snider the ticket writing cop, long before the Mall was built.
Great video!! I currently live in Austin, TX and have been looking at moving to a city that's cooler (I can't take these summers anymore haha), more compact and reminiscent of bigger cities like NYC or London, but a little cheaper since I'm not quite able to afford those two yet. Denver seems like a great city to live in and from what you captured, it seems to be really well laid out, clean and pretty gorgeous to boot. Thank you for this!
Thanks for watching and the positive feedback! Denver is a great city but it had experienced exponential growth over the last 2 years so I do not know if I would classify it as "more compact." For outdoors, photography, and no humidity, it is great! I had a ~very brief~ visit in Austin and there were some aspects similar to Colorado (traffic!) but thankfully we do not have "reverse in" angle parking on super busy streets and our summer heat is mostly dry. Less rattle snakes too (but we still got 'em and have to watch out for them when on hikes).
Denver is more expensive than the national average, at least when it comes to housing.
That's why I'm going to get a nice house some where else. I'm not paying 400k for a 1600 sq foot home and tiny small yard for that price!!
16th Street Mall is a shithole. What with the homeless, the beggars, the thugs, the assaults. You can't even eat on an outdoor patio without stinking beggars coming up and bothering you. I worked on the Mall 15 years ago and it wasn't as bad, but Denver started importing homeless refugees from Katrin and other disasters and they are still here. Especially now with legal weed.
Hey if you ever got the chance to, would you do a walk tour in Chicago?
Thank you for the suggestion. If I go there, I will do one. No current set plans for Chicago yet, however.
This kind of videos can make your day when u are in hospital
Thanks
Sorry to hear that you are in a hospital and hope this video made your day a bit better. Get well!
Great to see the city where John Denver lived 🙋♀️🇮🇪🙏🏻
How do u get to the airport from down town? How do I know I’m on the right platform or whatever?
Use the A-Line Train from Union Station to DIA. Fair is $10.50 and is an "All Day Pass" so you can use it thought the day if needed on other RTD trains / stations. Check the board for the right platform, normally it is the very first one as you walk out of the union station when facing the platforms. There is always security folks / transit police there and are always helpful to answer questions if needed as to the correct platform. Enjoy your trip!
I love my city, Denver.
Kinda has a European vibe but with an American twist. Looks like a great city!
I have a 9 hrs Layover in Denver next week, im taking RTD train to Union station then walk 16 st. How is the waether in winter? How cold could be? It is as cooler and do you get snow as in Canada? Flying from Calgary Canada. Thanks for the video,, Regards!
If you are from Calgary, then you will be fine. Weather can be unpredictable. Most of the snow has melted from the last storm so it should be clear. Next week should be mid ~45F (7C) for high and ~22F (-6 C) for the low temps. Have a great visit!
I am unfortunately about to leave this beautiful city for Louisville, KY. I am for sure going to return someday.
Which camera did you use, please ?
Obrigada pelo vídeo. Muito interessante. I am considering moving there with my employer and this is very helpful. I hear both very good things & very bad things about Denver. The high cost of living is scary for a single, mature woman. Have you done videos of some of the suburbs? I’d love to see that since I would live there instead of the city. It would be safer and safety is primordial for me. Hope you would consider doing that sometime. Thank you!
Thank you for watching and the positive comment. I do not currently have a walking video of Suburbs, but you can see some of them I did from a flying Drone (flying in new building construction areas and open fields). Video: czcams.com/video/2PduZHLMSzI/video.html .
Very clean city
love
This looks a world away from some of the other 16th Street Mall videos I have seen.
This was around the holiday season and was cold so not as many people outside as usually there.
I go here sometimes.
Are there usually not a lot of people walking around?
This was in December, around Christmas time when many people take time off from work so less crowds in the street.
It is genius how they paved out part of the side walk and used it as a bus lane. We need something like that here in San Diego
Only allowing buses and pedestrian traffic is what made this 16 st mall in Denver the best walking / street / mall. The granite stone street was designed by architect I.M Pei. Had this street been a regular traffic for cars, it would not be the great walking experience that it is today.
This is kinda like Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market in Boston but on a larger scale. I do want to visit Denver however.
Going to visit
Looks fukin awesome. 🤩😛💕
Ugh, Union Station. I'm always sitting there for hours waiting for the Bustang bus to Fort Collins. It is a cool area though.
The Mile High!!!
I've walked that area and remember a great bookstore but have forgotten the name. If someone can bring it up that would be way cool
lugar que quero morar.
I was in Denver two weeks ago and walked along 16th St. The whole place reeks of pot! You can get a contact buzz just walking around. There were also a lot of homeless people especially around Union Station.
🤗it’s a Big City I hope to see one day 🙋♀️🇮🇪
Wonder what it looks like in January 2023 ?
Are you carrying chains ?
Keys. Learned how sensitive the Mic is and am putting keys in a different place for other videos.
It should be interesting to see Denver's street now after COVID 19 :)
It's not the same. It's nice to see the thriving Denver of just a few years ago.
I grew up in Denver, didn't look like this. Now a mall. Changed quite a bit..
Don't know how long ago you lived there but the 16th St Mall has been in operation since 1982
@@stakknation123 I'm a Native, lived in Co all my life..I know all the street's.
👍😎👏👏
😍😍👍!
16th Street Mall. I thought it would be Rodeo Drive in the Rockies. Boy was I wrong...
Nice vídeo!
But the negative point was that the camera man was making noise with his nose all the time!
You are right and I am sorry, it was a fairly cold day and I did not know the camera picked it up. Will try to improve on the next one (I have in mind). Thanks for watching and your feedback.
Guys this was film in downtown denver,,,,every downtown in every city does upkeep n sweeps,,,,try filming on a weekday when people are at work trying to find parking and trying to survive another Monday in downtown Denver they turn vicious in cold hearted
0,57.
Why are those cars parked in the middle of the median
Should only be security / police cars. No regular car traffic allowed. In rare cases, store owners park there to load / unload but typically they do not do it during the day and usually do it in the ally and no on the street itself.
Good afternoon,
I need your permission to use some clips in your video to my TV Program..
i am a one of the creative team at KISAH VIRAL GTV, don't worry your channel youtube's name will published too as credit video
i'm waiting for your feedback, thank you..
Best Regards,

that looks like a business place i don't think i can live there im a retired man and im sure no affordable housing .
NYC is busier and more packed during the holidays especially , but this city looks okay but at the same time lifeless
One can't compare NYC to Denver, or most of the cities in US. New York City is ~9 million population? I am looking forward to visit NYC someday (hopefull soon) and will try to do such a video as well.
What you view as lifeless is what others consider peace. I wonder if you've ever hiked in your city-slicker life?
NYC is the busiest city I've ever been to in America. You're going to think a of cities are lifeless compared to NYC
@@DJR5280 I think it's silly for people to criticize other cities cause "they dont have enough people." not every city has to replicate NYC or LA
I'm disappointed I haven't seen a onewheel go by yet...
i just got back from Denver, Co. It no longer looks like the video, homeless people are everywhere and most stores are closed due to covid. 16th looks like a ghost town
Denver is boring but it's nice though quality of life is good
@Robert Gardea Never again will I go to Denver. Horrible people drug addicts
homeless scumbags etc.
Denver is definitely not boring I live here now if you want boring I'll take you to my hometown Richmond Virginia a no name city

I'm a disabled combat veteran fighting the VA for money and benefits who was homeless for 7 months in Denver and I lived and slept on and around this street. I stood and begged for food and money daily and I continue to love this city more than any place I've ever lived in the world. I now call it home and I cannot wait to return to her. I left one week before this video was uploaded because I feared I wouldn't make it through the winter months there. I fled south and hope to get back on my feet and finish my BFA in illustration with my G.I. Bill in Denver soon. I've gotten a job and am saving for a reliable truck. Never give up hope and keep your head up folks...life is a funny thing!
To cold for me
Good luck man. And thank you for your service.
Good luck brother
